When you are born you have the potential to do anything-
to be anyone
In that moment that you are born
It doesn't matter who your parents are
Your family's income doesn't matter
Your skin color doesn't matter
Nor your living conditions
In that moment you're born you can be anything you want to be before society tells you who you have to be.
In that moment I chose my future
I chose to be me
And right now
I am me
Me myself and I
I am (and I choose to be) complicated,
Weird, crazy, different, and so much more
There are no more Me's
There never has been and
There won't be another
Cherish me while I am here because
You might not like me now but I promise you this
You will miss me when I am gone
But don't worry, I am still here
So until my story halts
And I say "The end"
I will continue to ignore my faults
Because I am perfect the way I am
Though I may bend I shall not break
Cause there is no stress that I cannot take
Yeah, I'll admit
I'm flawed
But then again who isn't?
