To the Past?

Why them?

When I got home, nobody was home so I went to my room to write my training log. I run for fifteen to thirty minutes straight, do twenty to thirty push-ups, twenty to thirty pull-ups and forty squats until I get used to it. Practice with chakra.  I went back downstairs and seen a note on the counter. 'Sorry sweetie. We won't be home tonight. I made some food and put it in the fridge for you. Good luck baby. Love you.'

I don't remember this happening. Okay, things are already changing. I'm going to have to learn fuinjutsu for my notebook. I got the food out of the fridge and heated it up.  After I ate, I decided to go for a run around the village and then go to a training ground for a little bit of training. I got up locked the door and took my house key with me and ran for a while. I knew it had at least been an hour because the sun had gone down. 

I went to training ground three. The closest one to my house. I started doing my push-ups which took about thirty minutes, then squats which took about one hour and I finished with pull-ups which took about as long as the push-ups. I decided to see if I could destroy the training ground like I could in the future. I punched the ground and nothing happened. Well there went that. I tried again and this time it made a dent. Oh goodness, I'm going to have to train from the bottom to the top again. Well Tsunade-sama, I bet you're laughing your ass off. 

I did twenty to thirty more push-ups and pull-ups. I punched the ground again and it got cracks this time. Not bad. I'll just have to keep practicing. I need to see if my chakra control is still good. I slowly pushed chakra into my feet and stepped up the tree, one foot, then the other and again until I got to the top. I look over the village but some buildings are still taller than my tree. I spotted the Hokages monument and decided to go there. I walked down the tree and sighed.

"What a drag. Damn Nara's and their punchlines. I wonder how Shikamaru is." The village was starting to quiet down. I started walking to the hokage's monument. I sat atop the thirds head and watched the stars. I seen a few shooting stars but I don't see the point of making a wish on a star. It probably can't even hear me. Well it never hurts to watch the stars. I heard some footsteps. I turn to see Hokage-sama.

"Hello Hokage-sama. How may I help you this fine evening?" Why was he out here at this hour? Something has happened. Did he think I was crazy? Maybe my threat on Danzo? My parents? Who knows?

"Sakura-chan I have bad news. I'm sorry to say your parents went out of the village for some errands and were ambushed by some thieves. When the ANBU got there, your parents had past. The ANBU killed the thieves. I am sorry for your loss." My parents are dead. I sighed. I already lost them once, I hoped I wouldn't have to again. 

"Who?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Who killed the thieves?"

"Itachi Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake." Of course it was.

"Can I speak with them?"

"Of course. ANBU, bring me Itachi Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake."

"Hai." With that the ANBU teleported away with a poof. Two poofs showed up.

"You called us, Hokage-sama?" Itachi said monotonously.

"Yes. Sakura-chan here would like to say something to you to." Hokage-sama said with a sad smile.

"I'd like to thank you two." I told them seriously.

"Why, if I may ask?" Kakashi asked confused.

"You killed the thieves that killed my parents. So I am thanking you for letting them rest in peace." They looked shocked. I nodded and turned to face the hokage.

"T-those were your parents?" They asked simultaneously as their eyes widened in shock. I glanced back at them for a moment. 

"Yes. Thank you for letting them rest in peace now please excuse me. I have to start planning a funeral and mourn. Hokage-sama, may I ask what they were delivering?"

"Medicines to a village that didn't have doctors." My parents were heroes. I smiled bitterly. Of course. Everyone I love dies being a hero. Tears were starting to fill my eyes, I need to leave.

"T-thank you. I must be going. Goodbye." With that I teleported home and shredded my old clothes while crying until I fell asleep.
