Even stones are smoothed by streams
and stars so far can still be seen
Your soul can be a stubborn thing
but hearts are softer than they seemYou may have surplus strength to share
and even want to, if you care
But is it truly good or fair
if none are full, and you are bare?If you immerse in several streams
and skim night skies impatiently
If you give out what you still need
and lose yourself to many thingsYou will be everyone's, and none's
Spending all your soul, and some.
