Ross's POV
Damn it I didn't get to kiss Lauren on the cheek yesterday. Whatever I'll get it eventually and she'll never see it coming. Maybe I can get it in at the concert on Friday.
"Ross hurry up you're gonna be late!" I heard mom say from the kitchen. It was already almost 6:30 I was supposed to be at the set in 45 mins and I haven't eaten yet. I'll be late but for a good reason... I think. I had an idea for a song and had to write it down before I forgot.
"coming mom" I grabbed my phone and laptop, putting the piece of paper I wrote on in the laptop bag. I went to the kitchen and quickly ate some breakfast then mom and I got in the car and left.
Lauren's POV
I slowly opened my eyes, not wanting to get out of bed just yet. I looked over at the alarm clock. Why did I wake up at 6:47. I heard Dani murmur something in her sleep but I couldn't understand what she said. I looked over and Lisa was still asleep too. I grabbed my phone and opened the twitter app.
'Why am I awake at almost 6:50 in the morning' I tweeted. Then I checked my mentions.
I got a few tweets along the lines of 'Do you know the struggles of a high school student waking up at 6am for school' and of course the usual follow me tweets. But there were a lot that said something like "OH MY GSOHS LAUREN YOU RISS I JUST IIKJHKISDFLOIFDS' or 'LOSS FTW' and then there were pictures. I opened a few of them and they were all of the bonfire last night. I didn't even notice that they took pictures except for the group one.
I followed a couple people and responded to one of the high school students tweets with 'at least I don't have to do it 5 times a week ;D'. I didn't really know how to respond to the "Loss" tweets so I just went to the band account and retweeted R5's tweet that mentioned the band account and tweeted 'it was fun hanging out with you guys too :)'. Then I went back to my account and checked my DM's.
'Omg LAUREN YOU R5 ROSS LYNCH LOSS IS REALLY ASDFGHHJD'
I responded with 'lol what's loss?' I really didn't know. Like did I lose something?
'ITS YOUR SHIP NAME WITH ROSS I'
'Oh well in that case we're just friends'
'For now Lauren for now'
'Lol what's that supposed to mean we're really just friends' I was already confused if he liked me or not. I don't think a relationship was part of the near future.
'BUT HES YOUR CELEB CRUSH AND YOU GUYS LOOK SO CUTE TOGETHER ITS MEANT TO BE' and she linked an Instagram picture. I opened it and it was me and Ross. He had his guitar in his hand and we were smiling at each other. I thought about telling her that Ross had a girlfriend but i remebered that Rydel told me they were trying to keep that on the dl. Instead I just said 'still we're just friends...'
I went back to the Instagram picture and just looked at it for a bit. Could Ross really be more than my celebrity crush? I mean I think I might actually be starting to like him in that way. You know what I bet this is all just a phase and I'll get over it in like a week and we'll just be friends. At least I hope so.
I put down my phone and finally got out of bed. I went downstairs and found Katherine and mom already in the kitchen, "Do you guys need help with anything?" I asked
"We could always use some extra hand!" Kath said and they gave me some tasks to do. By 8:30 everyone was downstairs and ready to eat. By 9:30 we were all finished and getting ready for church. Church was the same as usual.
When we got home before everyone could disperse mom said "hold it" and we all turned to face her. "Mini family meeting in the living room." Once we were gathered in the living room she said "alright who's gonna go to the R5 concert on Friday?" Of course I raised my hand and so did Dani, Christina, Amy and Lisa.
"Ok Lauren could you text Ross that 5 of you are going?"
"Yep" I said
"Now who wants to tell me who broke the vase" she asked. We all looked at each other not saying anything.
"Oh so no one broke the vase it just broke itself." We still didn't say anything. To be honest I actually didn't know who broke the vase. I bet it was one of the little boys. One of them is gonna squeal eventually. "Alright family meeting adjourned. You're all free to go for now." And we all went off in our different directions. I went outside with Dani and Christian. I didn't want to text Ross yet cuz I was pretty sure he had to wake up early today to film for Austin & Ally or something. I didn't want to distract him
Ross's POV
"Nice. Alright let's take a break. Everybody be back by" the director looked at his watch "let's do a quarter after." That gave us about an hour for dinner.
I wasn't really hungry so I just grabbed some snacks and an apple from the food table and went to my dressing room. I was thinking about the song idea I had. But everything that was coming to me at that moment didn't feel right. The song didn't feel right. I decided to drop it for now and went to hang out with some of the people around the set. The rest of the day went by pretty much the same way it always does. We finished filming around 11pm. I was beat from the day and went straight to bed when I got home.
