She's Gone// Thomas

"We're out," you smiled, slipping your hand into Thomas'. "I can't believe we're out."

Thomas squeezed your hand, pulling you close to him.

Throughout your time in the Maze, you grew close to Thomas. You two were the best of friends that eventually led to more. 

"So, is this it?" You asked, your hand still in Thomas'.

"This is it."

"You can't leave." 

You turned around, seeing Gally with a gun in his hand. "You can never leave."

"Gally." Minho said, stepping towards him.

"Careful," you said, pulling Minho's arm. "He's been stung."

"We can never leave!" Gally yelled, raising the gun. "We have to go back!"

"Gally, we're out," Thomas said. "We can leave right now."

"No, we can never leave."

You saw his finger lying on the trigger, ready to shoot. You found yourself stepping in front of the bullet, saving Thomas' life. 

He had a point to make in this world, he was going to save the world, no matter what happens. He can't die. He can't.

You felt this strong pain hit your chest, knocking the wind out of you. Minho threw the spear, hitting Gally in the chest.

"Thomas." You whimpered, grabbing onto him as you fell to the ground.

"Y/n!"

Thomas' POV

I held onto her as she fell to the ground. There was a sudden bleeding pouring from her chest.

"No, no, no," I said, pulling her into my arms. "No, you're alright."

"You have to find my parents," she gasped. "Promise me, Tom. Please, you have to make it."

"Y/n," I said, my hands shaking over her wound. "No, you're gonna make it. You're going with me. I-I can't go without you."

"You-you have to," she said, her voice started to become quieter. "I love you, Thomas. I love you so much."

"I love you too," I said. "I love you."

"You've given me so much in such a short amount of time, Tom," she said, her hand on my face. "You are the love of my life. Find them. Find my parents, tell them what happened."

She gasped, her final breath leaving her body. 

"No, no, no," I yelled. "Y/n! Y/n!"

"Tommy," Newt put his hand on my shoulder. "She's gone."
