The Deep Dark
Should have been my prayer closet
Instead, I'm piling more skeletons there
Stumbling blocks, like gum in the hair
Lately, I haven't got a prayer
A/N: For all those struggling to maintain a consistent prayer life, in the midst of all the distractions and diversions of the world, I know where you are. I still battle to "pray without ceasing" [1 Thess 5:17]. May we shred all those things that would mess up our prayer life with the Savior [i.e. "gum in the hair"], and focus intently on constant communication with our Creator. Amen.
