Chapter 25 // Introductions

Shin's POV
I think I pissed her off. When Ayano looked at Taro she looked truly happy, then she looked at me and Budo. I understand it's awkward for her, but I wouldn't have kissed him if she didn't want me to.
"Don't feel bad. Everyone got what they wanted." Budo whispered in my ear
"I know, I just don't want her to dislike you."
"It will all work out." he moved my chin and kissed me
"I hope so."
*Ring Ring*
"Sorry that's me." Taro got out his phone, "Ayano, can we talk?"
"Yeah." Ayano lead him to her room

Taro's POV
It was from Imouto.
"Ayano, can we talk?" I showed her who the call was from
"Yeah." she grabbed my hand and dragged me to her room. She sat on the bed so I locked the door and put the call on speaker
"Imouto, how are you calling me?"
"They released me! I'm out of jail!"
"What!? What happened?" I acted
"An anonymous source found more evidence. They looked over everything and the fingerprints didn't match mine. They're looking for the real killer as we speak, can you come pick me up?"
"I can take you home but I wont be there tonight."
"Why not?"
"I'm at my girlfriend's house." I smiled at Ayano
"Onee-chan's got a giiiiiirlfrieeeend!" she teased
"Very funny. Anyway, we'll be there in 5 minutes."
"Okay, see you then."
"Bye."
"She did it!" Ayano jumped on me happily
"I love you so much."
"I love youuuuuu!" she squeezed me tightly
"Let's go get her!" I picked Ayano up and carried her to the lounge
"You two seem happy." Hayato laughed
"Imouto was released from prison, it wasn't her!"
"S-So they don't know who stabbed me?" oh shit. I completely forgot. The reason she's in jail is because of Midori being stabbed
"They found a new piece of evidence, now they can find the real criminal."
"Poor Imouto.. She was in jail for something she didn't do.." Midori realised
"But she's out now, so it'll all work out! Anyway, me and Ayano are going to pick her up, see you in a minute!"
Me and Ayano ran to my house and we got in my car.

Ayano's POV
I made the right choice, but I never could have known that Taro would have been so accepting of me. I should have just confessed straight away.
"I owe you." Taro put his hand on my leg
"How?"
"You didn't have to tell me. But you put yourself at risk to tell me the truth, now I get my sister back."
"But I'm the reason she was in there."
"That doesn't matter anymore."
We arrived and pulled over at the side of the road. Taro jumped out of the car and broke down in tears. I did this to him.
"I missed you."
"I missed you too."
My eyes started to water but I tried my best to hold it in
"Alright quit your crying, I'm out now." she smiled, "Introduce me to your girlfriend." he wiped his eyes with his sleeves and I got out the car. He smiled and gave me a hug before introducing me to his sister
"Imouto, this is my girlfriend Ayano."
"It's nice to meet you." I smiled
"You're very pretty, are you sure you want my brother?"
"Hey!" Taro shouted
"I'm sure, and you're very beautiful, do you have a boyfriend?" I laughed
"No, but do you know Sota Yuki?"
"Blonde one, right? You like him?"
"Mhm."
"I am right here!" Taro stepped in
"You have a girlfriend, so it's only fair!"
"Me and Ayano are both 18."
"So? If I can handle myself in jail I'll be fine with boys." she crossed her arms
"Alright alright." he held up his hands
"I'll see what I can do." I winked at Imouto
"Let me take you home."
We all got in the car and Taro drove Imouto home. We all got out the car and knocked on the door. Taro's mother opened the door and gasped when she saw Imouto.
"How are you here? We missed you so much sweetie." she hugged her
"I missed you too mom. They found new evidence and fingerprints, it was enough to prove my innocence."
"I knew you didn't do it."
"It's okay mom, now they can find the real criminal."
"I suppose."
"Anyway, I'm coming in, see you tomorrow Taro, and it was nice meeting you Ayano." Imouto smiled going in
"Oh sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Taro and Imouto's mother, but you probably figured that out for yourself."
"It's nice to meet you Yamada-Sama!" I smiled
"Are you the friend Taro's staying with tonight?"
"Actually mom, this is Ayano. She's my girlfriend." he held my hand
"Oh, this is Ayano! He talks about you all the time."
"Mom!"
"Alright alright I'm sorry. You two have fun." she laughed
"It was great meeting you, have a nice weekend." I smiled
"You too."
"Bye mom."
We got back in the car and drove off, but this time we didn't drive home, he stopped in a convenience store carpark.
"Why are we stopping?" I asked
"Get in the back." he got out the car and I did as he said
"What's going on?" I asked
"We aren't going to have any privacy until tomorrow." he smirked
"That's very true." I started tugging on his scarf
"Which means this in our time to continue what we started earlier."
"Without anyone to disturb us."
Taro leaned in and kissed me passionately. I pulled scarf off and used it to pull him closer to me. His warm hands around my waist was something I could have only wished. When kissing Budo, sure it was out of attraction, but kissing Taro was something completely different. It was much more intimate and passionate, it was out of pure love and need.
"Am I better than Budo?" he whispered in my ear
"So much better."
"Tell me what you want me to do."
