Chapter 8

Skipping a week or so



I woke up feeling good, refreshed and happy

I tried to get up but Joey had his arm around me

" Jo i need to get up" i moaned

"Don't leave me " he said sadly

"Just go back to sleep Jo, I will never leave you I promised" I smiled and kissed his cheek

Becky was up and just smiled at me I think she say what happened

Once everyone was up we received news that we get put into four groups of three randomly and we have to wear horrible Hawaiian shirts but in think I can work it ;)

The teams were
Blue team - Laila, kian, steve


Purple team- David, Becky, Matthew


Orange team- Joey, me and Annabel


Pink team - Lucy , Alf and Vincent


We have to compete for a night of luxury where there is proper showers toilets etc but the three teams who loose need to spend time on roach trip

It was blue against pink and then orange against purple and the winner of both go against each other

Blue and pink teams have already left so it's just orange and purple

"Know something I always wanted to do?" Joey questioned me

"What"

"Tell the time on a normal clock, I can read digital and that just not a normal one" Jo said sadly

I pouted and said "I'll teach you Jo bear" I then smiled after

I done a hand gesture for him to sit next to me in the dirt and for him to grab a sick on the way back

He did as told and came and sat behind me with his head on my shoulder, I smiled at him then began to draw a clock in the soil

From the corner of my eye I could see the rest of them smiling at me and Joey

By the time I taught him about how to tell time the teams came back and we questioned them about it and apparently the blue team won








The next morning

It was our turn to go against the purple team


We all left camp and gathered round 6 tub things filled with horrible things they consisted of , mashed vegetables, fish and the last one was fats and blood and guts of things

We had to find letters and rearrange them to make a word then the next person would go and so on


First it was me against Becky

I got all mine first it spelt out towel then it was joeys turn and he got massage the it was Annabel's turn we were still in the lead but we missed one letter bit she couldn't find it the we turned around and we saw David had just won

Annabel apologised millions of times but we told her it was ok
