Chapter 17

*the next morning*

I got up bright and early I have no idea why

Once we had breakfast it was Tim for our trial

We were put into a big cage that the three of had to share and in front of us were three tubes with colours round the rim yellow,red and blue

Joey had yellow I had red and kian had blue

In front if us was a small railway track and little coal carts they would come past and we had to get 100 gold pieces which are on the floor through the tube and into the cart before time runs out

"This feels like I'm in the sewers" Joey said to us


"First um eww and second how would you know what that feels like?" I asked/questioned

But before he could answer my question the buzzer sounded so I set off to work

We were all putting the pieces of gold in one by one but then we figured out that we could put more than one in

The first part I only got 16 Joey and Kian were well better

Then all the bugs and that started coming in and crawling all over my back and I tell u it was not fun

"Omg get out of my bra" I shouted at the cockroach

"I'll get it ou-" but before he finished I interrupted him

"No it's fine" while a blush creeped onto my cheeks

By the end of that round I got 49

Then 70 , 88 and then I finally got 100 well I got 102

We finally got cleaned up then we sat on the logs looking at the cardboard cut outs of our camp mates, it was time to choose who we wanted to save

we went through them one by one and after an hour we finally decided on David,Rebecca and Vincent

It was tea time now and the food was lowered

We opened it to find a small duck thing

It still had its head on and kian was pretending to make it speak and out it right next to me

I had to be as far away from that as possible so I sat at the other end of camp

We ate then got news that we could go back to camp tomorrow
