It was almost pitch black, I can barely see. The guard guy's hand is planted firmly on my shoulder, digging in through my clothes. This guy's a mage, a really really powerful one. I can feel it. The funny thing is, his magic signature (every mage, wizard, witch and such has one) is very familiar, and I can't quite place it. I just assume I must've come accross him at some point. But when? Where? How? Who knows...

"Do be advised. Sire has been in a bit of an unhappy mood lately. So don't make it any worse." He said, stopping before two huge spruce doors. He knocked three times, paused, then knocked another three times.

The door swung open in front of me. There he was, sitting on his huge throne, staring angrily at a sheet of paper. A young boy, who I could only assume was a messenger, stood stock-stiff in front of him.

"This is absolutely ridiculous... 16 years, countless sighting and you STILL are no closer to bringing him in?! And now two of our scouts have gone off on us! What the literal FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?! WE ARE AN EMPIRE. A FUCKING EMPIRE AND IN THE PAST 16 WE HAVE COME NO CLOSER TO GETTING THIS ONE GUY! HE IS ONE. GUY!" Aldanus bellowed at his guards who aligned the right wall of the hall. They bowed in an apologetic way.

He flicked his wrist, dissmissing the messenger, who bowed quickly before bolting out of the hall, looking terrified.

I could only assume he was raging about Grayson.

The mage-guy shoved me fowards and started walking towards Aldanus.

"Sire..." He said, bowing neatly. "I have the first prisioner for you." He said, practically throwing me to my knees.

"Ah, very well Ziphonne. Is this that former hybrid one?" He asked, looking me up and down. "Yes. How he obtained this form is unknown. But records show he has been in close communication with the theif." Ziphonne expained, smirking a little.

"The theif, you say? Well then... This should be interesting..." Aldanus said, dismissing Ziphonne and the other guards from the hall.

The huge spruce door slammed behind me. I stood up, my hands still chained behind.

"So, Drake is it? Well... I have a few... questions for you..." Aldanus said, smiling insanely, before pulling out his sword.
