If we were to meet again in the later future.

I hope you could forgive me

I could lie and say.

"We could make it work again."

" We were just not ready. "

" It was my fault. "

But I won't lie

Because that's inconsiderate.

I would proudly say,

"We're good people, just not good for eachother."

" I wish the best for you, even though I may be hurt. "

" Thank you. "

We couldn't express ourselves.

We couldn't try new things.

And we couldn't grow as a couple.

If I'm yours in the future

Just know

It'll be different

Isn't that such a cliche saying?

If I'm yours in the future

I would hope for an unconditional love

Like those of the

Star crossed lovers

But i'm saving my heart for that time

In the future.

So I can make sure

We won't end up in tragedy.
