Chapter Eight: The Date (Kendall's POV)

I take a seat, in a small booth, with Luke across from me. Luke Gilroy my dream Boy...

"Oh ma god, how much freakin clothes did you get" he asks, scouring through all of my bags. A sudden rush of embarrasment floods my face, and i turn beet red. He just looked in my victoria Secret's bag!

"Kendall you shop there?" he asks, glancing at the Victoria Secrets Bag. "Well Paige said So, so i kind of just went with it" i say. "Kendall That store is for, excuse my launguage 'Slutty teens, and hot moms wanting attention'" he says. "yeah i know, I just feel i won't fit in with her" i say, glancing down at my outfit. Who am i lately? I mean seriosuly, I have never ever worn a dress on a date with heels, I have never gone home with 5 full bags of clothes/shoes. Who am I? "Your right Luke, I don't know who i am anymore" i say. "Kendall i didn't mean that, it's just i think that you should be you" he says.

"But then i won't have any friends, they're populars, you can't beat that" i say.

"Kendall Vertes, The definition of Popular is just girls/boys who think they're better than everyone. There's nothing like a real friend, trust me i would know" he says, glancing down, a sudden verge of sadness in his posture. "Luke, What's Up" i ask.

"Nothing Kendall" he says, taking a sip of his Hot Black Coffee.

"Luke" i say taking my hand and lifting his chin, he looks into my eyes and I say, "Luke what's the matter".

"Kendall, Let me just tell you this, having a real friend, is much more worth it, then having a billion fake friends, never give the real ones up, for fake ones, its not worth it" he says, taking another sip of his coffee, and grabbing his phone off the table. "Kendall I have to go, Here's some money for the check. I gotta go" he says, putting on his jacket. "But wait, Luke" i say. "Kendall i gotta go" he says with a fierce tone.

I Sit there, alone in a coffee shop, being not me, being a fake person. Who am i lately? Who am I?
