I closed my eyes tight,

Just waiting for rejection, to hear the door slam Rob saying you're a freak and walking out,

But it never came,

I slowly opened my eyes, seeing Rob just standing their speechless,

"Please don't leave." I managed to whisper out to him,

"Why would I ever do that?"

He ran towards me, wrapping his arms around my chest and patting my neck,

"Sorry I would pat your back but you know."

He nervously laughed,

I joined him laughing,

He pulled back,

"You are fine with me, right?"

"You bet!, just promise me one thing"

He looked at me smugly

"Sure? what is it?"

"Take me flying."

"Um not a good idea."

"One day pleaseeeeee."

"Fineeeee"

I rolled my eyes,

"Oh and thank you Mrs.Power but can I talk to Lachlan privately for a sec?"

"Sure go for it, bye boys!"

She waved closing the door behind her,

"What's up?"

"It's Vik."

"What's wrong with Vik?"

I sat down on the bed, my wings shifting,

"He came out today, and started getting punched by Dylan and his gang, that's why he wasn't at school it happened before school, and----"

"Wait a second. He came out? What's that supposed to mean?"

"He came out as gay."

"Wait really? I have a chance!"

"I thought you said no flying."

"What?"

I looked down, I was in the air.

"AHHHH!"

I fell on my face, groaning in pain,

"Ouch. That hurt."

"No shit man, it looked like it would of. but you missed the point, Vik get beaten up."

"Oh no I got that and I'm going to freaking give Dylan a piece of my mind."

"What happened to 'I don't want to fight.'?"

"That disappeared when he beat up Vik."

"This isn't going to end well, is it?"

"Nope."

I snickered,

"Well I better be going, got a bunch of late assessments I need to complete."

"Good luck with that, see you tomorrow!"

"Bye."

"See ya!"

Rob walked out of the door, as I pulled out a book and started to scribble down new ideas of how to hide my wings and be half comfortable,

I'm not ready to show the entire world yet.
