The day I met zatanna was the day my life became sooo much better. I was wandering around Gothem one day when I came across a pretty older girl with black hair. I shyly smiled at her tucking my long brown hair behind my ear as it was always falling into my eyes, my other hand tucked into the pocket of my raggedy hoodie, she smiled widely back and slowly walked towards me as if I was a scared animal. In her defence I probably looked like it. "Hi" she quietly said, I looked up shocked that she was speaking to me. "Hiya" I whispered back, not quite finding my voice. My fingers sparked with anxiety, they had been doing that since I was twelve I was seventeen now and I still didn't know why. I hurriedly stuffed my hand in my pocket hoping the girl hadn't noticed. She looked shocked for a moment then smiled again. "I'm zatanna what's your name?" She asked, " My names Serena." I replied looking down at my scuffed up converse shyly. I looked like shit compared to the beautiful girl standing in front of me. The two of us continued speaking, for several hours sitting down on a bench a few feet away. I had a feeling she was trying to get me to open up to her and I wanted to, I really did but I was scared what would this girl think of me once she realized I was different? "So" Zatanna asked gently "do you have anywhere to stay tonight? I've seen you around and couldn't help but notice you sleeping on the streets and that isn't an option tonight." She stated looking and the heavy snow outside. I decided I should just tell her the truth, no use in lying now. "No " I sighed "but hopefully It let's up somewhat." She seemed to think for a moment before asking "would you like to come stay with me?"
I would love some feedback guys this is my first fanfiction and it is going to be a wally west fanfic I had never seen anything really with zatanna so I thought it would be interesting to see what I could do
