There is nothing like some mesmerizing eyes. They can be many colors, shapes or sizes!
I noticed, after reading/editing my stories, I put a lot of emphasis on eyes and these are the 5 reasonswhy I think I do.
1) I'm a strong believer that the eyes are indeed the window to the soul. I've seen love, compassion, rage, ill intent, life strife, exhaustion, excitement all of these things dwell in our eyes even when we try to hide our emotions/intent. Our eyes often give us away. But, what if someone is blind? You know I'm not sure. What do you think?
2) Talk about an array of color! WOAH I especially like when eyes change color from light to dark or hazel eyes might change from green to brown or some other color combo depending on mood. (This is a real thing my boyfriend and one of my best friends growing up have eye colors that change.) Don't even get me started on dark eyes! Such mystery like all of life's secrets are captured in those dark bottomless peepers! ok I digress ;)
3) They are a focal point of the face
4) They communicate emotion: intensity, empathy, anger, curiosity, love, amusement, humor, confusion,etc. Without words eyes can portray a point often more effectively.
5) They are our soul's looking glass. Through these portals, our inner beings peak from their plane or dimension into ours. This point is kind of out there, but I find it holds quite a bit of truth.
