Chapter 28

Chapter 28

I could feel a burning sensation run through me
I look in front of me all I see was a shadow

"Hello?" I say, it came closer towards me

"Your gone" I hear it say

"everything around will be gone in no time"

"you took so something from us we will take something from you"

"I'm warning you" that's all I hear and the shadow is gone, I look around me and all I see is red, I am in a pool of blood, my breathing starts to become faster...

"AHHH" I get up, 'it's a dream', I repeat to my self, I was sweating so badly

I look at my clock next me me, it's 6:00am sharp, that's weird, I look at my clock confused, how can I wake up 6:00am on the dot, eh it's just a coincidence

I get up and do my daily routine, after that I walk down stairs to the kitchen, and start to make pancakes

As I was half way through flipping the pancakes, I jump as I feel to strong arms rap around my waist, look back to see who it was, it was justin

"You scared me" I say

"Good morning to you too beautiful" he chuckles and rests his chin on my shoulder, I chuckles in response

"Why are you awake so early?" He whispers in my ear

"Oh just had a bad dream" I say casually

"Oh are you okay?, what happened?" He asks worried

"It was just weird, I can't really explain it, there was like a shadow, and it was saying things to me" I say as I flip the last pancake

"Oh, and what did the shadow say?" He asks curiously

"Ah nothing important" I say

"Well if your a werewolf it has to be important... So what did it say" he asks again

"Um well it said .." Before I could finish

"OMG yummmm pancakes for meeeeeee" I look back to see Adam rubbing his eyes as he talks, I can hear Justin breathe out

We all set the table and sit together while we eat quietly, the only thing that was heard was the forks against the plates

"Sooooo, the 'werewolf' hunters are coming today" Adam breaks the silence, my heart literary stops

"Oh shit I forget" I whisper to my self

"Aya don't worry, we are here to protect" Adam reassures me

"I'm not worried about my self, I'm worried about you guys, stop making me feel like I'm weak" I snap, I don't know why but anger welled up in me

Justin and Adam, look at me, taken back by my sudden outburst

"Sorry, I'm just so stressed" I say, as I drop my fork and knife on my plate and walk up stairs to my room

I felt so shit, I'm putting both Adam and Justin in a high risk of them getting hurt, and I'll feel so shit about it, it will be like I just lost my own life, if one of them get hurt

I can't put them through something that is technically my fault, and they can get hurt from my battle

These people will hurt anyone that will get in that way and I can't let that happen...

I hear a knock on my door,

"Come in" I quietly but loud enough for the person behind the door to hear it

The door slowly opens, I look up and realise it was Justin

I look at him then look back down at my fiddling fingers

"Are you okay?" He asks quietly, I nodd, not really wanting to talk

"No your not Aya, talk to me" he says worried

"You and Adam need to leave" I say, although it was really hard saying it

"What?..." Justin's face instantly drops

"I said you and Adam need to leave" I say more sternly this time

"Why?" He whispers, I looked up at his eyes all I saw was hurt

"Stop with the questions" I say angrily, there is no time to waste, literary the werewolf hunters will come in a couple of hours

Adam comes through the door

"Hey what's up" he looks at me and then at Justin confused at our facial expressions

"You and Justin need to leave" I repeat

"Why?" Adams face drops as he wasn't excepting that

If I tell Justin and Adam why I want them to leave then they won't leave and insist on staying

I sit there quietly...

"Aya answer us" Justin says as his face is written all over it pain, confused, hurt and anger

"You guys don't want to be friends with me, you will only get hurt, I'm a monster" I say, and whisper the last part

"No your not Aya, stop beating your self to conclusions, your the same person, just with powers" Justin says as he tries to change my mind

"Please leave you guys will get hurt, they will kill anyone that will get in there way" I say, and slightly start to tear up

"Aya no" Adam says, "your our friend we can't just leave"

"I know and I love you guys for caring, but you need to leave now, I can't afford losing one of you" I say, starting to get frustrated

"Okay fine, Justin let's go" Adam says angrily, and pulls out Justin with him, Justin just looks at me with hurt written on his face and his eyes start to water

After they both walk out without a single word being said, I just sit there staring at the door, 'it's for the best' I think repeatedly to my self...

I think of the dream more clearly
"you took so something from us we will take something from you"... This continues to repeat in my head...

They left...
