Just Another Day

My P.O.V

It's been two days since that strange incident with Phil. He hasn't said a word about it... and neither have I. Not to him, not anyone.

But since I'm still yet to discuss with Dan and Phil, I decided to walk to their flat and try things over again.

I knock on the door, and tap my fingers on the back of my phone nervously.

"Oh, hey...?" Dan muttered confusedly.

"Oh hi Dan. I just came to ask if you guys were able to discuss the whole "trip to America" thing... I know this was very spontaneous and intrusive, but I had nothing better to do today honestly"

"Oh! Yeah sure it's cool come on in,"

Dan let me into his home and shut the door behind me carefully.

As I walked in, immediately the odor of another's home came piercing through my nose. When I inhaled the stench, I could feel a familiar feeling. It made me cringe for a split second, but then it stopped and I was comfortable again.

"Here's our kitchen, you can just, sit here I guess." Dan pointed to their dinning room table.

I sat down and crossed my legs, putting my bag around the chair.

"Anything to drink? Some coffee, tea, pop, wine...?"

"I'll take some tea actually thank you, Dan."

"No problem at all, you're my guest anyways" Dan smiled while placing the water into the microwave to heat.

"Dan!!! Can I wear your jeans?! My only clean ones have some weird, gross red ectoplasm on it or something." We could hear Phil scream from down the hall.

Dan slowly and quietly turned to me with an annoyed glint in his eye.

"Sometimes I actually forget he's an adult."

He whispered to me sarcastically, before screaming back.

"Uhhhmm I want to say no, but what the hell go ahead!!! Just don't get any red, ectoplasmic goo on them please and thank you!!!" Dan whaled back.

A few minutes later, Phil came out and stood in the entry way looking at me sipping my tea and eyeing Dan straight faced before coming over to grab a seat next to me.

Hey "(Y/N), come here about the trip?" He warmly smiled.

Hearing him not speak of anything 'strange' calmed my nerves a little bit. I was sorta panicking he'd say something again, or daringly mention the other day when I came to visit.

Dan finished making his tea and sat down alongside me and Phil.

"So, I brought this along with me," I pulled out a big book with the American flag on it titled, "American Presidents Throughout The Years"

"What the hell is this." Dan picked up the book flipping through the pages.

Dans eyes lit up like the eyes of a baby when they see they're mother, I swear it.

I threw my hand over my mouth trying not to laugh. Unfortunately for me, my plan had failed, and I ended up laughing at him.
