A Burning Desire: A Tomco story

Chapter 2

Star was sitting in the living room practicing a new spell she learned that turns bunnies into kittens. When Marco came downstairs with his laptop.

"Hey Star guess what I just found out theres going to be a convention next week in our town"

"Oh a convention that sounds fun...Wait a minute no it doesn't! my mom held a bunch of royal conventions at the castle and it was just a bunch of king and queens getting together to talk about boring stuff." She says

"Well This is different see a convention is this cool place were people get to dress up, play game, and buy a bunch of cool stuff."

"Ohhhh that sounds so much more fun Then a royal convention!" She yells

"And theres a theme for each convention and this conventions
them is fantasy! So we can dress up as elves, wizards, or even dragons. hey you can also just were a muni princess dress"

"Marco that sounds amazing and I know the perfect dimension were we can get outfits" she took out her dimensional scissors.

"Oh wait star we should probably got to the underworld first to see if Tom wants to go"

All of a sudden their was a small earthquake and flames appeared out of the ground to reveal the demon prince outside their house

"Looks like we don't anymore. hey Tom!" She waves to Tom and he enters the house and greets them both.

"Hey Tom me and star are going to a convention next week you wanna come?" Marco asked

"Yha it'll be fun we can play game and dress up as fantasy creatures were about to go get our costumes"

"Sounds kinda weird but Sure ill come along the convention. But theirs no way in the underworld that I will dress up for it" Tom said

"Party pooper" Star said sticking out her tongue. She grabbed he scissors and cut the the air revealing a small portal. All of them steeped thru the portal and entered the dimension. It was very much like mid-evil times were it not for all the different types of creatures walking around. In fact there was a particular group that were standing looking at a map. In the group their were a man with long black hair, a short man with a beard, two tall elven girls with green skin and a small horned green man.

"Oh look at those guys they have a bunch of sweet weapons. they look like their getting ready for an adventure" Star said and walked over to the group

"Excuse me are you all going on a quest? Also where did you all get your cool weapons and stuff?"

"hello young lass yes we are on a quest and we got all our equipment from "ye old weapons & stuff shack"
He said pointing to a wooden shack
"They were having a sale"

"Awesome come on guys lets go"
Star said running of the the wooden shack. Tom and Marco followed her trying to catch up. Once inside both star and Marco stared in awe of the varies clothing and weapons. Both of them looked around the store exploring wile tom sat down. Star quickly found a simple blue dress that she liked

"Ohhh this is cute"

Star piked out her outfit witch consisted of the blue dress a, corset, and a bit of leather amor that fit nicely on top of it. Marcos decided on a short green tunic that was lose at the bottom as well as some tight brown slacks.

"What do you think Marco" star said showing him her dress

"It looks nice star"

"Hmmm should i get a sword or battle ax..... What the heck ill take the sword" she said answering her own question and threw the battle ax in her other hand

"Looks like this outfits belt comes with a quiver I guess ill get a bow and some arrows"

Tom got board of sitting a wile ago and decided to take a look around. He came across a small display case that had many large eggs with various designs on them.

"Hey Tom we got our outfits. Hey what are those!" Star said pointing to the display case

"these young lady are dragon eggs that you can hatch" the store owner said coming up to the three of them

"dragon eggs well thats quit amazing. a full sized dragon would be a grate to have in the underworld" Tom said "I'll buy one"

"Oh and were gunna buy these too" Star said holding up the clothes she piked

"Good choice that will be 500 gold coins"

Marco and star exchanged looks of surprise "Star pleas tell me you brought money"she laughed nervously "sorry I forgot it oops" she shrugged "all I have is 20 dollars"

"Calm down you two ill pay for it" Tom said snapping his fingers and a small pouch of gold appeared appeared out of thin air. He handed it to the man paying for the egg. Then the man gave him his dragon egg. It was a red with small spots of gold. And they all made their way back home.

Once they were on earth Tom was getting ready to go back to his dimension until

" Hey Tom I just wanted to say thanks a lot for buying all that stuff for us" Marco said nervously. Tom looked at him and thought 'he's so cute when he gets like that'

"Hey Its not a problem I'm the prince of the underworld remember money isn't really an issue" he said

" I know still thanks so ill see you next week" he said

"you bet bye Marco" Tom said and went back to his dimension.
