The Werewolf Game

Chapter 6: Accusations

Josephine has been silent at school. Every lesson, she usually answers the teachers' questions. But now, she doesn't even look at her teachers when they're teaching.

She looks at her side, where there's an empty seat. It was just yesterday that Tiffany sat there. She feels terrible, mad, and scared. The message she received yesterday creeped her out. 'Welcome to the Werewolf Game' it said. What does it even mean? She played the Werewolf Game a few days ago, she thought. But what's the connection to it? Not to mention, the sender referred itself as the 'Werewolf'.

Just when the final bell rings, she feels a tap on her shoulder.

Ed: "Josephine, group meeting."

Josephine slowly got up from her seat, wiped her eyes, and nodded.

They all gather in a circle.

Cella: "I'm sorry.... about Tiffany."

Angel: ".. Me too."

Ongky: "Josephine, I'm sorry... She was a great friend."

Josephine kept silent.

Josephine: "It's fine, guys. Thank you."

Toby: "Uhm, sorry? For what?"

Cella: "Are you freaking kidding me."

Ed: "Why are you so stupid, Toby?"

Toby: "I don't know what you guys are talking about."

Yezki: "Tiffany's dead, okay?!"

Toby: "Wait, WHAT?"

Cella: "Told you guys, he's the killer. He's just acting like he doesn't know anything."

Nadine: "Yeah, he's the killer."

Everybody looked at Nadine.

Cella: "Wow, Nadine. You actually speak up."

Toby: "Screw you guys!! I told you, I'm NOT the killer!"

Yezki: "Yeah you keep telling us that."

Cella: "You were glad Jason's dead."

Nadine: "Which means that you're the damn killer!"

Ed: "Okay.... what's with you, Nadine? You rarely even talk."

Nadine: "I'm sorry, I just hate this, okay?! Ever since I knew that there's a murderer among us and they're killing every one of us, I just DON'T want them to kill me. And I REALLY think that it's Toby."

Toby: "What."

Cella: "I'm not being weird or anything, but I think I agree with Nadine."

Angel: "Yeah, Toby. Not to mention that you like horror/slasher movies!"

Toby: "Oh no no no... Josephine, explain to me what happened."

Nadine: "Like you don't know! Just tell us that you're the killer!"

Josephine: "Shut it, guys. I can explain."

Josephine explained the whole story to them.

Toby: "Wow. That whole story. And you guys are accusing me, instead of Kelly?"

Everyone looked at Kelly. Kelly kept silent.

Ed: "What?"

Toby: "Think about it. Josephine's on her way to Tiffany's, when Kelly called her and told her that Tiffany's dead."
