Once, Natsu went to the port town of Hargeon. Coincidentally, a girl named Lucy happened to be in Hargeon too. They met in the center of the town, while Lucy was being controlled by a love trans as Natsu was looking for Igneel or a guy named Salamander. Natsu broke the trans by happening to pass through the crowd of girls where Lucy was in. Lucy thanked him after by bringing him into a cafe. They discussed about how Lucy wanted to join a guild, and her backstory of leaving home. Then, when they left, Lucy ran into Salamander again. Salamander somehow convinced Lucy to go to his yacht party. And when Lucy went there, she found out Salamander was just taking the girls as hostage. Natsu eventually saved the day of course and then BOOM. He let Lucy join Fairy Tail. Slowly, the two started to fall in love, wherein their marriage is in the manga!
AN: I'm going to be honest, I have an enormous crush on Natsu. But I think Lucy deserves the position more than I do C:
