Ruki:

The moonlight beam was shining brightly through the window. Inside the room, a silhouette figure could be foreseen, sitting in an antique armchair. Whether the shadow was a female or male didn't matter at the moment. All that mattered was the memento that it held in it's arms. Pages turned one by one, exposing a series of human emotions and actions. They were all foolish. Who would have thought that mortals were so ignorant and easy to break. The figure, now rocking back and forth in the chair refused to think that she was such incapable, considering she was also human. The moonlight moved away from the chair, now shining on a different part of the room, as the pages continued turning.

"No.. she isn't like this. If she is, I'll just have to change her. She'll be mine. Unhuman. Powerful. Unemotional. She'll be perfect."

The moonlight beam continued to shine into random figures in the room. But, when it found it's way to the armchair again.

The silhouette figure was gone.

*Your POV*

Your stress meter was up on max. You knew that someone was trying to mess with you, as your attempts to sleep were in vain. The phases, where you heard voices telling you to make adjustments to your choices, were now more than just hallucinations ,but phases that you suffered through every hour of your life. It became a regular thing to check with your boyfriend if you made any life changing choices or attempts to change anything around you. You considered that the problem was your boyfriend himself, considering he was never pleased with your presence if it wasn't something truly pleasing in his opinion. You had to earn the right to be in his presence ,now, and it made you stressed as ever. Instead of helping you through this circumstance, it seemed that the problem was the person that you considered you loved.

Mukami, Ruki.

Waking up from a useless slumber, you adjusted your bedding and sheets before falling out of the bed and crawling out the bedroom door. You didn't even know what to feel, All that mattered was that you had to talk to Ruki. You couldn't live like this anymore and had to confirm if he was either the problem that you had to get rid of or a lover who supported and was genuinely concerned about your current situation. Knowing Ruki, he would probably find a way to prove both of your conclusions wrong and cause a turn of events. You smiled. It couldn't be him. He was your lover, the person who loved your ideal image and your every flaw.

Finally making your way towards his room, you entered, taking in his scent and every sense that consumed you as the thought of having him as your lover and making sure you were okay was infatuated into your mind. You looked around, looking under his sheets to see if he was still sleeping or if a hump resembling his figure was laying under his bedding. "Ruki?" Your voice echoed around the room, making you cringe at how little furniture soaked in the waves of your voice. "Ruki-san?" The second time you called for him was louder than the first, desperate to find Ruki in his bedroom. He had to be here. If he wasn't you didn't know where else to look for him except for the kitchen or Azusa's room. The kitchen seemed to be quiet as you passed by it this morning when you headed out of your room and towards his, so he surely wasn't in there sipping a portion of soup. Otherwise from that, is it possible that Azusa cut himself so early in the morning? Ruki was always concerned for his youngest brothers, so he must have gone up when Azusa needed help with his bandaging. You smiled to yourself, finally deciding to look for him in Azusa's room. He just had to be there.

You walked up the mansion stairs and found the corridor with the youngest Mukami's door in it. Knocking on the harsh wood you were prepared to face Azusa and his new pair of bandages to ask if Ruki was inside or have him answer the door himself. There was no answer.  You knocked on the door rather harshly the second time, hoping you hadn't gotten the room mixed up. The door creeked open as your assumption was confirmed correct and you hadn't mixed up the location.
