Chapter 5: Happy Day/ Sad Day

*Jen's POV*

Holy shit! Is this real? Am I dreaming? Fuck! I look up at Lana and she is smiling at me. I feel the blush creep up my cheeks.

"Wait really?" I ask and she nods.

I smile at her like an idiot.

"So now what?" I ask after staring at her for about ten minutes.

 "I don't know.... what do you want us to be?" Lana asks.

"Well, I would like to take you on a date tonight." I say boldly.

"Okay that sounds fun! What time?" She asks.

"Be ready at 6:30 and dress in something comfy." I said smiling.

"Okay, might I ask what we are doing?" Lana asks and I smirk.

"Wouldn't you like to know." I tease and wink at her.

She rolls her eyes smiling.

"Whatever Morrison." Lana says and I laugh.

I was about to say something when Lana's phone rings. The person starts to talk and her eyes widen.

"Bex, calm down. I will be there soon okay?" Lana says and I knit my brows together.

She hangs up with phone and I see a few tears in her eyes.

"Lana, what's wrong? What happened?" I ask taking her hand in mine.

"I'll explain later I have to go talk to Jared and Taylor." She says and I nod.

We leave Starbucks and quickly get back to the apartments. Lana practically runs to Jared and Taylor's family's apartment and walks in.

I quickly follow and walk in as well. I hear sobs coming from Taylor's room and I see Jared staring out the window.

Lana quickly goes into Taylor's room and I sit next to Jared.

"So kid..... what happened?" I ask cautiously.

"Plane crash." Was all he said and my eyes widen.

His parents where on their way back from vacation on a plane.

"They're gone." He said.

He didn't sound super upset.

"You don't sound too upset." I said but immediately bite my cheek.

"That's because I'm not. They didn't support my decision on wanting to be an actor and they didn't really care that much about me so...." Jared drags on.

"Kid, they are still your parents." I say and he shrugs.

"It's not like I'm not going to have a parent tho." He says shrugging.

"So you have a back up guardian?" I ask and he nods.

"Yep." He says.

"Who?" I ask.

"Lana." Jared says smiling.

My eyes widen and I take a deep breath. So if Lana and I do end up together then I am pretty much in a relationship with three people? This is going to be quite an interesting ride.
