ashton woke up with arms wrapped around him. he blinked a few before leaning over and grabbing his glasses off the nightstand. as soon as ashton put those on his face his vision cleared up.

ashton looked back to see that michael was the one who had his arms wrapped around him. ashton smiled at that and slowly slipped out of the boy's grasp.

ashton saw calum and luke cuddling on the floor and his smile widened. he tiptoed over them and into his bathroom.

ashton stripped himself of clothing and turned on the water. he hasn't showered in forever and he's starting to feel gross. he didn't stink or anything, he just felt dirty.

once the water warmed up, ashton stepped inside. he grabbed his pumpkin scented body wash and started to clean.

two minutes later, ashton slipped out of the tub. he grabbed his towel and dried his dripping body. he let his hair curl up and plant against his forehead.

the fourteen year old walked out and went to his dresser. he opened his underwear draw and picked out a pair of lilac underwear that had lace. he then traveled to his closet and picked out a pair of black ripped jeans and a mint green sweater.

ashton went back into the bathroom and changed. he also brushed his teeth and blow dried his hair. after all of that, the boy left his bathroom to see the seniors all sitting and waiting patiently.

"took you long enough, princess." luke sent ashton a tired smile. ashton let out that giggle the three boys learned to love.

"well, i'm sorry. i didn't mean to." he smiled.

calum got up and wrapped his arms around ashton's neck since he was too tall to reach ashton's waist, "it's okay, sweetheart."

"okay this is all so sweet, but we got to get to school before we're late so pack up your shit and let's go!" a certain pink haired male yelled. everyone looked at the door to see adam poking his head in.

"we're coming!" ashton yelled as he shrugged calum's arms off of him. he grabbed his back and turned towards the boys.

"you coming?" he asked. they all nodded and followed ashton out. they followed him all the way downstairs and out the house. they found adam waiting in the car already.

"ready?" he asked once they were all in the car and buckled in. they all nodded their heads and adam started up the car, backed out of the driveway and onto the road.

adam reached school and parked in a spot. he got out with the boys and hugged ashton goodbye before jogging towards school.

since the four didn't have their first class together, they were forced to split apart.

"bye babe." calum said as he kissed ashton's cheek. luke and michael followed the maori boy's actions and allowed ashton to return the kiss.
