today was the first day...
a derivative of so many where u did not exist
where the thought of u just did not come up
that thought
had to be introduced by outside forces
but my brain did not detect any value to creating that thought
so ur space on this planet wasn't acknowledged
and i admit
despite the volume of my day being high and demanding
i was actually happy
happy without the thought of u
and it stunned me at first
this new revelation that u are not the only source of happiness
u are not the sun
and i do not have to gravitate around u
and i hate to say this because i care about the effectiveness of my speech
but ur presence equates to ur absence
i achieve content either way
and it was cold today and i was not obligated to carry the thought of u to keep me warm //e.b.
