My first meeting of the week. I'm supposed to be buying into an advertising company ran by a long time friend of mine. His business hasn't been doing that great so I offered to help him out a little bit. He wanted me to come sit in on one of his meetings to see if I can help him see what the issue is with his company.
We were in the car and Carlee was wiping my face like I was a big kid.
"Carlee move! I'm about to fucking crash the car."
"It's just something on your face and it's bother...oh, it's a freckle."
I looked at her and she just laughed.
"It's so early for you to get on my nerves."
"Hush!"
"So what's the agenda for today baby girl?"
"The meeting we're on our way to. Then you have another at 2:30 and after that you have a dinner date with this hot chick named Carlee."
"Cancel that dinner date."
She pinched my nipple.
"Ouuuch!" I yelled while moving her arm away.
"Don't play with me." She rolled her eyes.
"You know I can't cancel that." I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.
"So this guy we're going to meet, how do you know him?"
"When I changed my major to advertising he was in one of my classes. He used to be one of the best up here and then he got divorced from his wife and she took half of his company. She made decisions that fucked him up. So I decided to help him out by buying into his company."
"Not a lot though, right?"
"I'm not stupid Carlee, it's only 10% for 250,000."
"A quarter million is still kinda steep, I don't you to take a loss if you helping out doesn't work out but what do I know, you're the pro not me."
"But I want it to come to point where you do give me input on things I do with my company because if things go as planned it'll be our company." I grabbed her hand and kissed it. She had the biggest smile on her face.
I knew it was something about Carlee when she walked into my office and I plan on keeping her around for a while.
We pulled to M&E the company I'm working with. The guy that owns this place is Michael (in the mm). He's really a cool guy, I hope he can come back from this big deficit.
We got up to his office and Carlee let the secretary know who we were. Michael came out shortly afterwards to greet us.
"Christopher! Long time no see!" Michael walked up to me and shook my hand.
"Wassup man."
"And who is this beautiful lady standing next to you?" He grabbed Carlee's hand. I can't lie I almost flipped out.
