The phone ringing wakes me up.
"Hello?" I groan into the phone.
"Oh, in sorry did I wake you up?" It was Hazel.
"No, no. I'm just really tired."
"Oh. Long night?" She asks.
"Yes," I reply wondering what she needs. I don't want to be rude.
"Well, I have something to tell you guys. Is Percy there?"
"He's downstairs, just a second," I tell her and run down the stairs.
I find Percy in the kitchen cooking for the kids.
"I found him. You can tell us."
"Well, I'm pregnant!"
Percy looks at me, wondering who's on. I mouth 'Hazel' to him.
"That's great, I'm happy for you!" I say.
I have a sick feeling all of a sudden. Like I'm going to throw up.
I run to the bathroom and throw up. I feel like I'm puking my guys out.
"Well, I have to go, Annabeth is sick," he says and rushes to me.
"You okay?" He asks me.
"Yeah. I'm fine now. I just felt sick."
"You sure?"
"Yes," I reassured him.
"Mommy! Mommy! What's wrong?" Sophia runs and asks.
"Nothing baby, go eat. I have a surprise later," I say, sending her back.
I was going to go shopping for clothes.
"You're not going anywhere," Percy says, picking me up and kissing me.
"I have to run to the store. I'll be back in 20 minutes!" I tell him.
I go get dressed and get Sophie ready to go.
"Mommy can I have candy?" she asks once we get there.
"Yes, but come with me to get medicine first," I tell her.
The cashier is very crabby and mumbles my total to me.
"Sixteen fifty-two."
We walk out to the car and I buckle Sophia in.
"Ready?" I ask.
"Yes!" she says, ripping her candy open and eating by handfuls.
"Sophia Marie! Don't eat that much! Save it--" I get interrupted by something.
I feel pain.
A car crash just happened.
I wasn't worried about anything but my daughter. She had to be safe. Nothing else but her.

"Mrs. Jackson?" I hear a voice.
"Hmm?"
"I have good news and bad news," the nurse says. "Good news is your daughter in the crash has a minor leg break. Bad news is that the fetus was killed."
"Wait, what? Fetus?"
"Yes. As in baby. You didn't know you were pregnant?"

A funny story? Lol on the first day of middle school/jr high, I was lost on my way to 2nd period. When I finally found it, I heard the teacher say my name, and I immediately ran in and said "here!" All dramatically. Everyone kind of just stared at me. Turns out they were just assigning seats, they hadn't done roll call yet. I was so embarrassed. >_< ;)
