"Bye Daddy!" Sophie calls out to Percy.
He had to go and do this one thing for his job.
"Bye guys!" he calls. He jumps in the car and starts driving.
"Bye!" we all call one last time.
We walk inside and I get the kids ready for lunch.
They sat at the table, while I heated up macaroni and cheese from yesterday up.
Since I was distracted, when the dinger went off I jumped.
Then my stomach had a sharp pain. I knew my water hadn't broken, but I wanted to go get it checked out.
"Wait here!" I yell to them.
"What's wrong mommy?" Sophia asks.
"I have to go to the hospital. Could you get the twins in the car?" I ask.
She knew I was serious, and when she knew that she did exactly what I told her to.
On my way out, I checked the date. It was a month until the baby came and I hadn't had a checkup.
I didn't know the gender yet, so I hoped that they would tell me that.
On our drive there, nobody talked. It was completely silent.
I checked in and filled everything out and waited. And waited more.
Finally they called me back.
They knew what I was there for, so the woman did the things she was supposed to do and then laid me down.
"Well, well," she said.
"What is it?" I ask, not wanting to lose the baby again, though I think it was too late.
"It's-"

I'm gonna go on a rant (that has swearing).
So you know those chain letters? Well those annoy the shit outta me. There has been the Carmen whatever one all over Instagram and EVERYBODY is reposting it. But me. I commented on my friends it was stupid so my other friend said it was real and to look it up. All I got were fake results. Then she says that tomorrow at my funeral she'll say it was cause of this. She is a good friend of mine, but needs to fucking let me do my thing.
