old age has now come upon you despite your best efforts to ignore it
and you have found out the hard way
that aging is for the strong not for the weak
yet your persistence on exquisitely designing your destruction
does not waver
the stubborness that you wore so proudly with the arrogance of youth
has now chipped away at your body
and left only an ugly mess
seems you still have not learnt from experience

it seems you insist to remain the village jester
brutal to the people who care about you the most
and worship those that mock and loathe you.
