A/N: In case you didn't see my comment yesterday in the 'Happy Halloween' note, which is now deleted, I wanted to say that Anti is not going to be a character within this story. We already have two - or rather, two in one - antagonists within the story and adding another would be crazy and more unrealistic than it already is XD I hope you understand and I apologize if this disappoints some people! I may mention him occasionally or set up undertones or infer towards him - as I already have - but he is not going to play apart in the the story.

"This is no party, Dark, please take this seriously," Ida snapped and he rolled his eyes, but kept his mouth shut, which surprised me. I figured he wouldn't take lip from anyone. "I need you sweet babies to help me, alright? We must try to return the vitals to the body, this is the most difficult step of the procedure."

"How do we even do that? Do I have to look at the body?" Jack asked, his voice quivering as he refused to look at the body.

"I will have you grab the items and hand them to Mark, don't worry, honey," She reassured him and he nodded. "We basically stick him on life support. With any ordinary soul, like Eli's, he could get stuck in a comatose state, but considering Dark is accompanying him, he'll certainly awaken."

"So we basically hook him up to machines and try to restart his heart?" I asked and she sighed.

"Close. Most of the machines are not necessary, Eli is going to monitor his own vitals and tell us what needs to be done. We will need to get him a tube to help him breathe, try to shock his heart back up, and give him adrenaline. That usually does the trick," She explained. "The natural minerals and my directions will guide both Eli and Dark back into the body. They need to jump in together to prevent the body from bleeding out the ears, mouth, and nose - like what can often happen during possession."

"This is crazy... let's just get it over with," I sighed and she nodded.

~ (Author is too lazy to go into detail about what happens bc why not) ~

We spent the next two hours getting everything ready to start up Eli's heart. The tubes were helping his lungs get air and his body was warming up to a more normal temperature, but he still needed his heart shocked back into action. He'd technically be brain dead afterwards, but then we'd insert the souls and he would hopefully come back to life, leaving Felix free of Dark.

"We will give him the shot, then try shocking his heart. Jack, please charge the defibrillator for me?" She asked, pointing to the machine used to shock hearts. He nodded and went to tend to it. "Mark, do you have a belt or something? I must give the injection to his upper arm."

"Yeah, here," I took off the belt I was wearing and handed it to her. She tied it fairly high up and prepared a clean needle out of a kit she brought within her bag.

"Thank you, love. Do you mind giving him the shot? I have to help Jack with the defibrillator," She asked and my eyes widened as she picked up a marker and drew an 'x' over a vein. "Just inject it in here. If I'm not seeing signs of what I want to see of the body, we can give him another shot in three to five minutes."

"O-Okay," I mumbled after she had already turned away. I picked up the needle and shivered a bit, not wanting to do this. I paused.

"You're such a pussy!" Dark sneered at me and came towards me. He ripped the needle from my hand and quickly injected it into Eli. He got up in my face and barked, "You're welcome."

"Fuck off," I groaned as he sat back down in the spot he acquired. Ida came back to the body and checked a few things.

"Good, very good, it looks like he will not need another shot. I think this would work better and faster if we guided the souls while shocking the body back to life. Mark, I'd like you to shock him every time I tell you too, while I guide them, understood?" She asked and I nodded, not wanting to again, but Jack wasn't going to do it. She went back to her bag and took out several candles and handed them to Jack, along with a lighter. "Light these and place them in a circle around the body to let the scents drift towards it."

"Okay," He sighed and did as he was told as Ida handed me the pieces to the machine.

"Do it now," She said and started saying random numbers that made no sense to me. Eli's shirt was always gone, so I let the prepared machine sit on his chest and pressed the button, jolting his body and causing me to flinch in surprise. Felix fell over in the corner, the darkness fading away from his eyes. "Check Eli's pulse, both Dark and Eli are in."

"There's a small one, it's extremely faint," I said, surprised it actually worked, even a small bit. She took the machine away from me.

"It will do," She nodded and sat down on the couch. "We must wait, sweet babies, the body has to get itself going. It's going to take the two a while to get it started. Until then, keep watch over your friend over there, he is still unconscious, but will wake soon."

"He'll be okay, right?" Jack asked, going to Felix and holding him in his lap, hugging him.

"Yes, he will be okay. It may take a while for him to recover, he will have many nightmares, but his brain will soon accept it was not reality," She assured him and he sighed contently, closing his eyes as he hugged our friend. Ida glanced at me and gave me a small smile.

"Don't be jealous, I can sense it. It's not good for Eli and Dark."

"I don't care about them, we have Felix back," I said, watching Jack.

"Be careful, they can still hear you and might decide to ditch the body and jump back into Felix. Be weary of your words, they are both powerful entities," She reminded us. "Now, you two sweet babies get some sleep, it looks like you need it. I'll watch over your friend and Eli, don't worry."

"Are you sure you don't want us to wait with you?" I asked, not wanting Dark and Eli to overpower her and kill us all.

"I may be short, but I can take care of myself, thank you," She smiled and I looked over to Jack, who was already setting Felix back down. He went up to Ida and hugged her the best he could as she was sitting.

"Thank you for everything," He mumbled as she hugged him back. After they pulled away from each other, I took Jack's right hand and we headed to the bedroom, laying in bed with Chica. I held him close as I closed my eyes, letting myself fall into the scent of him.

No more nightmares.
