"Come home"

Norma's POV
I managed to pick my self off the floor clean the mess and keep the shopping
I walked next door to pick up Norman
*knocked*
Alex: hey
Norma: hey
is my son there
Alex; he was but your husband picked him up about an hour ago
Norma: what
Alex: should I be worried
Norma: no oh you know what it's okay he'll be fine , thank you
Alex: are you okay
Norma: what
Alex: do you wanna come in
Norma: I don't wanna upset your wife
Alex: she died 2 weeks ago but I figured your husband didn't tell you that
Norma: no he didn't I'm so sorry
Alex: is tea alright?
Norma: hah you know me already

I remember walking into his house it felt like a home photos every where cozy chairs and a real dining room table , it's what I always wanted in a home for my kids , even though we had chairs and dining room table it didn't feel like Home
There was this box of toys in the corner of the room ,they where kids toys .
Norma: you have a lot of toys over here do you have kids
Alex': oh no no ymm my i had a little girl but she got sick and she died about 6 years ago now actually
Norma: I'm sorry
Alex: it's fine its been a long time
Norma: how old was she?
Alex: she was 6 she would of been 12 now yesterday actually
Norma: I'm so sorry that must of been a tough time for you
Alex: yeah it was but I'm okay I'm still alive and I'm still fighting on

Norma: afraid of him?
Alex: it's like every time you hear his name you flinch
Norma: that's a lie
Alex: is it though?
Norma: you know what I have to go I'm so sorry I'll see you around * I start limping for the door*
Alex: Norma wait *he grabs my waste*
Norma:ahhhh ouch ow
Alex: Norma
Norma: it's nothing I'll see you around Alex , thanks for the tea
Alex: just remember one thing if your ever scared or you need someone to talk to i'm always here
Norma: thank you , but I'll be fine

I walked back into the house and collapsed on the floor by the front door i cried cried and cried
my life was such a mess my son hated me , I just didn't know what to do any more
So I ran a bath and took a bottle of vodka with me
When the bath was full I drank the last of the vodka and got in , i put my head under the water and saw my life drift away
I heard someone shout Norma i didn't know who it was I didn't care
Alex: Norma !! Hey hey hey you don't wanna do this come on
Norma: leave me alone
Alex: no no come on
He put a blanket around me and carried me back to his house he lay me in his bed and sat their by the side of me waiting for me to come to
Norma: I'm sorry I'm so sorry
Alex: hey you don't need to be sorry
Norma: I just can't do it anymore
Alex: course you can , your Norma BATES right your a fighter
Norma: haha you got that right
How did you get in anyways
Alex: you left your purse at my house so I was gunna give it too you but the door was open , I got suspicious so I walked in
Norma: I'm glad you did , I just keep going over in head if I had died , I would have left my kids alone in this gosh I'm so selfish
Alex: no your not your far from being selfish trust me
Norma: I'm a terrible mom i let my husband hit them what dose that make me
Alex: scared
Norma: I guess I am scared
Alex: this will only make you stronger
Norma: I guess so
Alex: umm sam's home., he arrived about 10 minutes ago
Norma: what I have to go I made a huge mess with the water and he will realise his drink is gone
Alex: I cleaned up the mess and I replaced the bottle of vodka
Norma: thank you thank you so much
Alex: don't worry about it
Norma: I have too go but thank you

I just wanted to feel happy again.
Alex walked me to the front door and and i kissed him on the cheek
Norma: thank you,....I owe you one
Alex: Don't worry about it
I walked home with a huge smile on my face, when I got back it was all quite
Sam: where have you been
Norma: Sam you scared me
Sam: sorry
Norma: where's Norman
Sam: he's in his room I brought him some new DVDs so he's watching them
Norma: I'm gunna go and check on him
Sam: okay

Norma: knock knock
Hey kiddo
Norman: hey mom
Norma: what you watching
Norman: something you wouldn't like
Norma: oh really move up
Norman: Dylan isn't happy with you
Norma: yeah I know
Norman: I miss him mom
Norma: I miss him too
I fell asleep by the side of Norman, the only time I was truly happy was when I was next to Him,
I felt someone touch my arm
Sam: sorry I was just putting the blanket over you
Norma: okay
Sam: night
Norma: night
Sam: by the way Norma I invited Alex and Dylan over tea tomorrow night
Norma: you did ?
Sam: yeah alex has been so good to us and i thought you could fix things with dylan
Norma: thank you
