Yuki~ 6 years old"Aren't the colors beautiful?" your mentor asked as you looked up at the sky in curiosity. The colors shining brightly throughout the night sky causing a small smile to form on your face and nodding in excitement.
"I'll be right back okay, make sure you stay here!" your mentor told you as she walked off leaving you surrounded by many others.
You looked around to see many children with their parents, couples, newlyweds expecting, and even older folks around looking towards the annual fireworks that happen every year. Sharing times of joy and happiness with one another, all except one.
A small boy with golden-brown eyes, messy, light blonde-green hair. He seemed sad and alone and turned his head towards your direction to which his expression changed from shock and small hues of red forming on his cheek.
You simply waved towards him as he slowly waved back until he was playfully shoved by a girl smaller than him with brown hair and the same color eyes. He looked towards her and smiled while taking the item she held out to him from her hand.
"Here you go!" your mentor said handing you a small item to which you seen was a small pendant with a fragment of a green rock in the shape of a crystal, "This will protect you, even if I am not here. This will be your good luck charm to protect you from the plague."
"Hm," you replied looking at the pendant out of curiosity.
"You know Yuki," your mentor started "That boy across the way hasn't stop staring at you and is coming over."
You looked up and noticed that same boy who caught your eye before, walking towards you with the girl right beside him.
"H-H-Hi m-m-m-my n-name is I-I-Ikoma," he said bowing down, "I-I h-ha-havent seen you around t-t-t-these p-parts before."
"Nice to meet you I-I-Ikoma," you replied while taking notice of his embarrassed expression on how you said his name, "My name is Yuki and I was born here at Hinamoto but became an orphan until my mentor adopted me and took me under her care."
"Oh wait your the famous train smith!" yelled the girl beside him, "a-are you both traveling?"
"We were but we will be here for a little while," your mentor answered, "I think it is time for Yuki to learn to mingle with other kids her age."
You looked up from your mentor and down to the boy you knew meant to say Ikoma and smiled. From his expressions alone, you could tell he was mixed with various expressions ranging from excitement to nervousness to happiness, something that your mentor described as falling in love at first sight. Your heart began to race and her breath quickened. You could feel butterflies flapping their wings vigorously in the pit of your stomach. As soon as your eyes met this everything else around you and all your thoughts seemed to have vanished. All you saw was darkness around you with the only lid path leading you towards the boy name...
"Ikoma," you muttered while he went off towards Kongoukaku with yourself and Kurusu behind him.
