First I'd like to say this book was soooo fuxking long (which i didn't mind AT ALL) and it literally took me a whole month to read since i was so busy with school 😂😂.
But y'all!
This book is a fucking rollercoaster oml.
I swear life be going great for Mai and Rome and then the author just fucks you up emotionally till you can't take it no more 😭😭🔪.

GIRLLLLLL QueenGoldChainz, I swear!!!! This book is so fucking good I AM SHOOK FUCKING HELL.
I mean she included diff cultures, especially Mai's and her momma's and she even had them speaking in native tongue in parts THROUGHOUT the book.
The only thing I'll warn some of y'all anti-ebonics freaks is that August is from New Orleans and he speaks in his lil accent/dialect throughout the book so if you don't like that shit then BUH-BYE
