CRISS ANGEL-SINGLE FATHER

Part 6

It's Thanksgiving and Criss has invited everyone to his house for the meal. At his house Criss is helping out with making the stuffing when a knock came to the door. He wiped his hands and got up. He answers the door to see Lynn, JD, and Dimi. "Come on but be quiet I just put Johnny down for a nap"he stated. They came in. It's been almost been five months since Johnny came into Criss's life and he was enjoying it.

"How's Johnny doing?". "Good"he remarked. "I talked to a friend of mine at the hospital she said you brought Johnny in for a serve nose bleed". "Yea it freaked me out when he started to cry and his nose was bleeding I thought that a blood vessel popped or something"Criss replied. "I talked to Costa he told me you didn't go to the opening of that new club because Johnny had a fever". "Yea came out of nowhere it was probably just a virus he caught"he replied putting the stuffing in the oven.

Lynn could tell something was brothering Criss but he didn't want to say it. "Dam it JD I forgot the desert at home can you go back and get it for me" she asked. "Sure come on sweetie" and Dimitra went with her father. After they left Lynn sat Criss down. "What's wrong Criss you look like you're ready to cry"she remarked. "When I brought Johnny to see his doctor they ran a test that I'm hoping is negative but I'm scared that it's going to be positive" he replied wiping his eyes.

"What was the test they ran?" she asked. "They decided to test Johnny for cancer especially Leukemia". She gave Criss a hug and told him that everything would be all right. The door opened and his mother and Costa walked in. "Oh hey mom" Criss stated wiping his eyes. "I told you to chew gum when you're cutting onions" she replied giving him a kiss. "I'll remember that next time" wiping his eyes. "Where's my grand son?". "Napping"Criss replied.

When JD and Dimitra came back Johnny woke up so Dimitra went to get him. "Christopher!" she called out. Criss came in and saw his mother holding him. "Something wrong mom?". "Your son is soaked in sweat" she replied. "He's just getting over a virus mom don't worry why don't you go wash him up for dinner". "All right" and went into the bathroom.

After dinner everyone was talking and having desert while Johnny was sitting on the floor playing his cousin. "Have you heard from the doctor?" Lynn asked walking over to Criss. "No my heart is slamming against my chest Lynn what if it's positive" he said wiping the tears from his face. "Than we'll deal with it your family will be there".

"I keep having flash backs of my dad dying and if god forbid Johnny has cancer I-I-don't know if I can take losing my son" he stated as tears fell down his face. Lynn wiped the tears from his face. "Criss if god forbid that happens my hospital has the best cancer ward in Nevada". "Yea I've been looking at Oncologists just in case"he replied.

The phone started to ring in Criss's office so Criss went to his office and closed the door. Ten minutes later everyone heard something break in Criss's office. Dimitra and Lynn went to his office they found Criss on the floor crying while his phone had broking a picture on Criss's wall. "Christopher what's wrong?". "It's Johnny he's sick" he replied in between his tears.

Lynn started to tear up as well. "What does Johnny have a virus, an infections". "No mom he has cancer". Dimitra kneeled in front of her son as Lynn left the room ready to cry. "Mom what's going on is Uncle Criss all right?". "He-he-he's fine" she muttered. "Than why do you look like you're ready to start balling" JD inquired. She looked at Johnny who was just staring at her.

"Johnny has cancer". "Oh my god poor Johnny" JD said. Lynn walked over to Johnny picked him up. Criss came out of the room a little shaky so he sat down. Lynn brought Johnny over and gave him to Criss. Criss just hugged him as tears fell down his face.
