That night while Derek slept Allessa went downstairs to call someone to talk to her about the feelings she's having towards Criss and their son. She dialed a number and took it outside so not to wake Derek. "Hello" the voice said. "Mom". "Allessa what's wrong you sound like you've been crying". "Mom I've done something that makes me feel like I've been selfish".

"What did you do baby?". "In a night of drunken passion I got pregnant". "Did you have the child?" she asked. "Yes but I never told Derek about him I gave my son to his father because I was afraid to lose Derek. Now the child's has Leukemia and the father told me he needs a bone marrow transplant. Mom the way he told me it made me feel so low that after the father left I started to cry. Mom I feel like I put my needs towards myself instead of the child. I just abandon him on his father's door step. I've never seen what my son looks like or if I can be his mother" Allessa replied as tears fell down her face.

"Allessa I think that selfish cloud is lifting if these thoughts are floating through your mind". "I don't know what to do should I give up what I have with Derek for a man I had drunken night with and produced a child out of it". "Just talk to the father and see if you can see your son and get tested to see if you can save your son" she replied. "Thanks mom" and hung up. The next day Allessa came to the hospital to be tested and after that she went up to the pediatric floor. She found Johnny's room and Criss asleep in a chair with his coat over him.

Allessa walked over to the bed and saw Johnny asleep so she put a teddy bear under his arm than gave him a kiss. As she started to leave Johnny awoke and saw Allessa leaving. "Moma"he stated. She turned around and walked over to him. "Yes I am your mommy Johnny" tearing up. "For me" showing her the bear. "Yes from me". "Thank you" he replied smiling.

"Just like your father polite to a fault" as she touched his face. Johnny got out of the bed as Allessa sat on the side. He walked over and sat in her lap before giving her a hug. Tears fell down her face as she hugged her son. "All right Johnny why don't we go into the playroom so we don't wake daddy OK". He nodded and Allessa walked him to the playroom.
