Although, we don't love
Anymore

But i might as well
Be dead because
Seeing you like this
Makes me wanna yell
at you, bruise you, 'til
I would see your skin glow
Up like the lilac sky,
All purple and blue
And you had no clue
How much hell you
Put me through.
But my feelings
Didn't matter when
I suddenly saw you were
Blue.
And i had no clue
What hell ... i'd put you
Through.
And then i knew.
Oh, look, we grew.
I understood you.
and you understood me.
We were blue skinned people.
Calling, needing the help we
Both deserved,
Your skin was white
But then you decided you
Needed a drink of gin
And you thought it was zen.
To lose yourself to sin.
I painted your skin
blue and you thought
it was okay to paint
mine ...red.
