Aaradhya's Pov.

I feel eternal like I'm on some kind of paradise. A beautiful place with my husband and kids. Somewhere I know that this is just a dream.
A pleasant one.
As I stir and shift more, I let my hands roam on the bed to feel his presence but why couldn't they find him.
Where is my husband?

I open my eyes in a swift and glance up at the wall clock.

Oh Shit. I have overslept a lot today. Why didn't he wake me up?

I rub my eyes twice and get down from the bed. I locate my robe and wear it, covering my modesty. I do my hair into a messy bun and runs into the washroom. I brush my teeth quickly and splash more and more water on my face to remove all the sleepiness.

As I come out of the room, I hear faint noises which are coming directly from the kitchen.

Oh My God! My kitchen.

I run downstairs but stops to see my son wiping all the dishes on the table.

"Mumma." He says shockingly.

"Good morning." I kiss him on his cheek.

"Gooood morning." His grey eyes mirror mine. Oh my baby looks so cute.

"Aryan, what are you doing? Where is Dad?" I ask him.

He looks towards the kitchen immediately without answering.

I ruffle his hair and sneak into the kitchen to see my daughter helping her dad in something which I guess to be some secret.

"Mom." She shrieks, panicking.

Riddhant abruptly stops everything while I blink my eyes in confusion.

"What are you both doing?" I ask them placing my hands on my hips.

They both eye each other then looks at me after a second.

"Riddhant, what's going on?" I ask him.

"Mom, nothing." My seven years old daughter reply instead.

I narrow my eyes at her while she grins nervously.

"Riya, go help your brother." My husband orders and like a doting daughter, she walks away giving us some privacy.

"Now tell me, what were you doing?" I demand him to speak.

Suddenly he pulls me into his arms and kisses me.

"Happy anniversary, baby." He whispers kissing my earlobe.

"But we celebrated it weeks ago. Today's not our anniversary. it's 17th... Oh shit!" I stop as I realise that indeed he's not referring to our marriage anniversary.

He smiles wickedly while I frown at myself for forgetting this day again for the seventh time.

How can I forget this day?
The day of forgiveness. The day when we vowed to trust each other and share our lives till our last breaths. The day when we started all over again.

"I'm sorry. I forgot it. Again." I murmur slowly.

"It's okay. I'm glad you didn't remember otherwise you would had spoiled my surprises but you did spoil one of it though not entirely." He says caressing my face

"Surprise?" I quirk my brows.

"Yes. For a start. Breakfast in bed." He smiles.

"Oh my. so what have you been cooking?" I wrap my arms around his neck.

"Colazione, biscottate and spanish omelette." He replies kissing my hair.

"Tempting. I'm famished." I flash him a big smile while he chuckle at my statement.
