Seokmin came back with lots of foods. I looked at him weirdly.

"It's not just for you." He placed the paper bags in the table.

"The other two bags are for me. Dont open the other two" he said plainly as i started to untie the bags. I saw many candies, oh, seokmin.

"Really seokmin? Candies? " i looked at him, questionly.

He scratches his head and snatched the bags from the table and then he hug them.

"So what... aish! At least i bought foods!" He walked away, pouting. He can be childish sometimes. I start unloading the plastics. He bought too many foods. I guess it will be enough until the next night.

I started to eat one by one. I hope i can control myself from eating all of these. Seokmin pulled a chair beside me when he came back. I guess he can't stay being a brat that long.

"Where do you put your candies, kid? The cockroach might eat them first." I laughed. i dont like teasing him or any of his brothers but since they were sleeping, and because i want to have little silliness from this problem right now.

I dont want to think about it now, not because we are safe for now but because i don't want to stress myself.

"Did you actually just teased me? That's new" he stared at me. I pushed his face away from me because i feel my cheeks are already burning. I don't him to see that because that will be so embarassing!

"G-go away! I'm eating and you are bothering me!" He laughed and stood up from his seat.

"Do you have knife?" I asked him. I can't eat bread if i don't slice it into two.

That's how weird i am.

"Yeah. Here you go." I wasn't looking that time when i reached for the knife.

"Ouch!" I felt a stingy sensation in my palms. I must have grab it too hard.

"What- you are bleeding." His eyes is flashing in a different color. Oh no. I must have turned his vampire side on.

"I can control this. we just have to treat that now, or wonwoo and jun might smell it, it will be the end of you." I wanted to ask him why but he quickly covered my palm with his shirt and wipe the blood in the table.

"Come here." He pulled me upstairs and into the room. It's quite dusty.

"Why are you so careless..." he whispered while he rumage through the cabinet.

"I thought all of you drinking animal blood because it's not allowed to drink a human blood in your law?" He shook his head.

"At some point those two need to drink a human blood at least once a year..seungcheol is getting it from hospital. But your blood is different...and they can't resist it. They are having a hard time to adapt to changes-" we heard a loud knock, more like banging in the door.

"Open up!" I heard jun's voice. Seokmin cussed under his breath and looked at me.

"I told you." I felt my back went cold. I don't know what will happen to me.

"I SAID OPEN UP!!" jun's voice got louder and scary. Seokmin immediately treated my wounds and covered it as thick as he can.

He went towards the door and looked at me.

"Are you sure now?" I asked and he nodded. He opened the door and i was expecting jun will lunged me or bite me but i feel the air.

"I smell something here." He said. He looked at me and in my hands.
"Jun control yourself."seokmin held his chest to stop him.

"I-i'm just looking." And he walked away.

I sighed in relief. I'm careless and stupid. I should have known their characteristic first and because i am comfortable with them i shouldnt be cautious around them.

They are still vampires sophia.

"That was close. I didn't expect his thirst would wake him up." He said and headed out first.

"Wake up sophia~" i heard mr. Yoon's voice. I fell asleep on the couch in the living room. Next to their sleeping bags.

I opened my eyes a bit and saw mr. Yoon with an apron. I guess he cooked something for those idiots.

"Rise and shine" he said while walking away. How thoughtful he is-

"Ta-daaaah!"they all said proudly when all i can see is burnt foods.

"I appreciate the effort but how can i eat this? It's burnt." I said and they all looked at each other.

"Hey hey! Don't start an arguement!" I said, trying to prevent seungkwan from screaming again.

"I'm fine guys. You don't have to do this." I took a glance at each of them until i saw wonwoo and jun's eyes are suspicious. I hid my wounded hand in my back and pretend i didn't notice them.

"But we wanted too! Let us take you somewhere pretty around here." They all nodded at minghao's suggestion ang headed out.

But i notice seokmin is missing again.

"Wait" wonwoo held my arm. He keeps on licking his lips and sniffing.

"Your heartbeat is beating faster. I noticed you are hiding something? Let me see it." He is reaching for my wounded arm until someone came back.

"Hey! Don't stop her you stupid emo." Seungkwan said and pull me away from wonwoo. That was close too.

"Thanks" i whispered. He just winked at me. Maybe he can feel something is odd between the two.

We reached a river, where all of them are swimming. So, is this the one they wanted to show me?

"I guess you will not swim because of that?" He pointed my wounded.

"Yes..it does hurt a bit. I'll just watch you guys." I said and he shook his head.

"Seokmin hyung went out into the woods to hunt. So i am staying here with you and guard you." He crossed his arms.

"Hunt for what?" He smiled.

"Hunt for blood..you know..we need it now so we can fully recover from our injuries.. " he said and throw a pebble into the river.

"Ouch!" Mingyu said.

"Sorry!" Seungkwan shouted.

"What happened last night?" He turned his head into me.

"We were diverting exo's attention so seokmin hyung can save you. We got light scratches but we left critical damages to them." He smiled. How can he smile when he's hurt?!

"Who was chasing us last night?" He didn't answered me, instead he hold my hands tightly.

"It's someone who wants to take you away. Please don't talk to anyone but us. Okay? The situation is getting worst already sophia.." i felt a hand on my shoulder and saw seokmin.

"Hey..thanks seungkwan you can swim now." Seungkwan's face lightened and immediately remove his shirt and jumped into the river. That kid.

"You have blood stains in your cheeks." I wiped it off for him.

"Thanks." And he smiled. Like his eyes are not visible anymore. I stop for a second, my breathing stopped and worst of all..

"Why are you so red? Geez." Stop it seokmin!!
