“Why can’t I stay awake longer Daddy?” A little girl asked Sweden as he tucked her into bed on the night of Christmas Eve.
“Because Santa won’t come if you don’t go to sleep, (Name),” Sweden said.
“That’s right, pikkuinen,” Finland said. “You also had to be a good girl for him to stop by.”
“Was I a good girl, Mommy?” (Name) asked.
Finland smiled and stroked (Name)’s hair out of her face. “Of course you have. You’re always a good girl, (Name).”
“What about Sealand? Has he been good too?”
“Yes pikkuinen.” Finland leaned down and kissed (Name)’s head softly and gave her teddy bear to her. “Now go to sleep so Santa will find you.”
(Name) smiled and hugged her teddy bear close to her. “Good night.”
“Good night,” Sweden and Finland said as they left (Name)’s room so she could sleep.
Sweden handed Finland’s Santa outfit to him before going to check on Sealand to make sure he was actually asleep. Finland went into the bathroom to change into his suit before walking out of the house. “Be careful on your trip,” Sweden said.
“Don’t worry Sve, I will,” Finland said as he walked out of the house carrying his bag full of toys.
Sweden shut the door after Finland left and went to (Name)’s room, peeking in to make sure that she was fast asleep before gently closing the door.

(Name) woke up in the middle of the night hearing a thumping noise from outside. She sat up in bed holding her teddy bear as she climbed out of bed and peeked out of the window. Her eyes widened and lit up with joy when she saw a man dressed in red stepping out of his sleigh with a big bag full of toys.
“Santa...” She whispered to herself. She could’t believe she had actually seen him. She had to get out of her room and talk to him. She quietly opened her window and held onto her teddy bear with one arm as she started to climb out of her window. She felt around with her foot to find a place to land but yelped when her foot slipped.
Finland looked up from where he stood when he heard (Name) scream from her window. “(Name)!” He ran to the house and stared up after her in shock. “What in the world are you doing up there!?”
(Name) held onto the edge of her window with her free hand and looked down at Finland. “I j-just wanted to see you, Santa!”
“Get down from there! You’re going to get yourself hurt!”
(Name) tried to pull herself up from the window as hard as she could but she could feel her tiny fingers slipping as she started losing her grip. “Santa! Help!” (Name)’s eyes started filling with tears as she struggled to keep her grip on the window. She arm grew weak and she finally gave in and screamed in fear as she fell downwards.
