'Sup everyone! Quick question: Anybody out there familiar with Full Moon Wo Sagashite? If yes, HIGH-FIVE!! If no, totally recommend it. This song is Eternal Snow and I feel the need to post it for it seems pretty relevant to the story!

To anyone who misses Juvia, this chapter's all about her!

Without further delay, I present Chapter 11 of Ice-Cold, Eternal Snow.

Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail, as that belongs to Hiro Mashima. Nor do I own Full Moon Wo Sagashite, as that belongs to Arina Tanemura.

Please read, enjoy, and COMMENT....

The relentless rain was at last simmering down gradually. Everyone in Fiore was greatly pleased and relieved. That goes to anyone who's in the dark about the situation. For everyone who knew, that includes Fairy Tail and eventually Lamia Scale, people were confused. They were unsure whether to be happy or worried.

Their top priority had become to find Juvia. They decided to follow the weather patterns to locate her. However, that proved to be difficult. There was no pattern whatsoever. Precipitations were inconsistent all over the country. Several groups were sent out to investigate different areas at once. So far, no one's found a trace, much to Gray's dismay.

Gray had been adamant on finding her, more so than anyone else could hope to. Whenever he'd return, overtime with zero leads, he'd move on to another location. People tried to get him to rest and take breaks, but he lashed out at everyone, saying he was responsible and didn't deserve to rest, which they remained silent at. People began to leave him be, but that didn't stop them from being concerned.

The ice wizard was staring out the window of the massive guildhall. The droplets were becoming very subtle and light, almost a drizzle. It was quite a contrast to before when the rain had been angry and destructive. Gray pondered... could that mean she's not mad anymore? He wanted to believe that it was true, but he knew he couldn't be that stupid. Those scars his hurtful words left don't heal so fast, sometimes not ever.

But he knew Juvia was stronger than that. She wouldn't let grief overcome her so easily, would she? Maybe she has calmed down.

Gray couldn't have been more wrong. Unbeknownst to the fairies, the rain was subsiding, not because of Juvia's mood, but because she was moving farther and father away with every passing day. She had left Fiore...and took the rain with her....

Walking is a learned trait. Everyone's first steps are an exciting moment. After those first few steps to mom and dad, it's like your life has changed completely. But how could one find walking, or just moving forward in general, so difficult?

Juvia trudged with all her might, not caring where she was going, just wanted to keep going. Happen to be there any bystanders, they'd think they've seen a ghost.

The once lively woman so full of joy and sunshine, had become dull, and dare I say it... gloomy.

Gloomy.

That one word meant too much to her. Not in a good way either. It reminded Juvia of her painful past. A gloomy, rain woman...that's all she'd ever been.

Her whole life was meaningless, they said.

You deserve to just disappear, they said.

You'll never belong, they said.

Why? Why her? What had she done wrong? The poor girl had been this way for as long as her memory goes back. She never could remember her parents or the origin of her powers in the first place. She just got through each and every treacherous day as they passed, just going along with it.
