A week later : I watched Mia playing  with kj in the playground while I rocked zariah it was hard raising two kids on my own  I been trying for three days to get in contact with Kandy but she hasn't been answer her phone I could say a lot about Kandy but she took care of her responsibility every since I took zariah Kandy has called everyday to check up on her so for her to just stop like that had me worried so I been planning to go to new York to check on her blaze had said he could keep zariah and kj till I come back I honestly didn't want to leave because of smoke I haven't seen him days  I knew he could be around like because no one isn't supposed to know he's alive

My phone rang breaking me out of my thought I pushed zariah more onto my shoulder and answer the phone without looking at the caller I.D 

Me: hello

Ice : baby were are you

Me: ice what do you want and stop 

Ice : you serious yasmine stop calling me that

Me: what ever ice

Ice:  yasmine don't get smart yo were are you I haven't heard from you in days

Me: ice please you weren't worried about me when I told you not to leave last week

Ice: please yasmine I'm sorry let me explain 

I sighed looking at Mia and kj

Me: alright ice meet me at the baby store next to post office on main street

Ice: yo stop calling me that shit and I'll be there in five

Me: whatever bye

I didn't wait for his reply I hung up
And watch Mia catch  kj as he slid down the slide for the last time " come on kj were going see Jordan baby " his eyes lit up and and ran towards me while Mia follow close behind with a confused look on her face " who Jordan ?" I grabbed kj hand walk toward the car " he's my boyfriend " she nodded and once we got to the car and   Mia put  kj into his car seat while I put zariah in hers  and got in the car  I waited for Mia  to get into the a car and drove to her hotel

We reach her hotel and she looked at me  with a panic look on her face " yasmine can you promise me I can see kj as much as possible while your gone because I leave next Tuesday " I nodded " yeah I'm tell kj grandfather that alright " she nodded in relief and ran into the hotel something was off about her but I couldn't  put my finger on it I let it go driving to the baby store I seen  ice and his boy chuck standing in front of the baby store I got out the car " chuck can you watch the kids please while I talk to ice "  he looked at ice and ice gave him the signal that it was OK  he nodded and walked over toward the car and got in

I walked in the baby store ignoring ice's presence I looked at the cribs they had set up in the corner I seen this one crib  it was white with cushion around I t looked at the price at it wasn't that much money I heard groan from behind me " yasmine stop that ignoring shit alright I'm sorry OK"  i Ignored him and called  a lady  that worked there over to me can you ring this crib up please she nodded nodding  and left I turned to ice  " OK Ice explain now " he took my hand from my side and held it " yasmine I love you man alright but them niggas fucked with my family but I promise you yasmine after I left I went to my house and got pissy drunk and high I swear thats all" I nodded and pulled him into a hug I knew he was telling the truth he had no reason to lie to  me and he never gave me a reason to not I pulled away from the hug and looks into his  watery hazel eyes " Jordan dont do  that shit again  alright" he nodded kissing my head then my lips and help me look around the store for more stuff for kj and zariah

"Agent Williams you got to finish the job we almost got all the evidence to charge them both " I shook my head " I don't want to do this shit anymore haven't I done enough y'all said if I get yasmine together with ice everything will fall in place but nun of that shit happened I'm down I want to go home I want my kids to have a normal life Mia back in town my  cover going to be blown she going take  kj away  " they all looked at me strictly " no agent Williams we had a deal if you get information about yasmine dad but all we got was he cheat on his wife with the maid and we'll take care of mia so bring your ass back to that house now before she goes to new york and finds out that bitch of a cousin of hers is dead " I sighed angrily and got up from  my chair and button my suit up.
