Hiro's
Flashback
For the past day, tadashi and the rest of us spent hours on trying to get Hana's tracker going.
I've been ignoring some calls and messages from Jenna which keeps doubling every time I ignore it.
"Hiro, why haven't you answered my calls?" Jenna bursted in the garage.
Tadashi blinked awkwardly as he excused himself.
"Jenna, I'm sorry. I'm just busy looking for Hana. She's missing as of the moment.." I sighed.
"Hana again? Why is it always her? Hana Hana Hana! You do know that she was the reason my surprise was ruined right?" She frowned, crossing her arms.
"Jenna I know you're still mad about that, but she didn't mean it. She was sick and has a fever that day. Cut her some slack."
That just seemed to make her burst even more.
"Oh okay, that's how it's going to go? So if I hyper ventilate again and Hana just so magically get injured, you'll go and choose her then?"
"What? Jenna, you're being irrational. I'm worried about my best friend here."
"Do you even hear yourself right now? Best friend, while I'm your girlfriend. There is a big difference. Are you saying she's more important than me, right now?"
I knew I probably shouldn't say this, but she was ticking me off. I need to work on finding Hana, and fighting with Jenna isn't helping me.
"As if this moment? Yes, Hana is more important than you. My best friend, the girl I've been with for nine years, is missing and I can't find a clue to where she is. And a girlfriend whom I just met a month ago? I think the nine years holds more value, don't you think?"
Her face reddened as she stomped up to me.
"Well if you care so much about that stealing bitch you call a friend, the-"
"Hana is not a bitch! She literally was the one who even got me to date you! You should be thankful, cause if it wasn't for her, you'd be stuck being single and without someone tutoring you!" I growled.
I can take the things she throws at me, but she cannot bad mouth Hana.
Her arm suddenly swung up, slapping me.
"Well then. Consider yourself single, hiro hamada."
She stomped away fuming after that.
Tadashi slowly entered the scene with an awkward look.
"Well that was.."
"Relieving. I honestly don't know why, tadashi, but it feels like as if a huge weight was lifted off my back by breaking up with her." I chuckled.
"Then I guess you'd be able to focus on the task at hand better, now that you don't have Jenna barking by your tail every time." He joked, pulling up a chair by the computer.
I copied and gave him a crooked smile.
"Guess so, anyways, let's go find Hana."
End
"Well, that's apparently how we broke up. So technically, you were the reason we broke up."
She sighed heavily, her hands hiding her face.
"God..why is this happening? I'm so sorry hiro. You should've just let tadashi do the work while you talked it out with her. I'm making everything worse.."
I smiled and softly held her wrist, pulling her hands away from her face.
"I did talk to her, she just couldn't understand and got all exaggerated which lead to the break up. Don't blame yourself. I'm honestly kind if relieved she's out if my hair, which still confuses me as to why I'm so glad I'm not dating her anymore."
Her eyes softened but still had her frown.
"But it was my fault you guys broke up. If it wasn't for my stupid fever, none of this would've happened.."
"Relax Hana. It's not like I'm blaming you, and like I said, I'm also quite relieved to not be dating Jenna anymore. It gives me more free time, than I had when I was dating her." I chuckled.
"Well, still, I'm sorry. But I am kind of glad you guys broke up, no offence to you though. I just may have thought that she might kind of be..a tiny bit..bratty."
I laughed airily, shaking my head at her antic.
"I can't say no to that, I'll admit. But really, I'm glad you're finally awake.."
She smiled back at me and held my hand.
"Thank you for worrying, hiro. But you shouldn't worry so much. It seems to me that you haven't even slept yet."
Hana's
His eyes softened as his thumb rubbed my knuckles softly.
"You say I shouldn't be worrying, but look what happens to you when I take my eyes off you for a few minutes." He grinned.
"Hey, It wasn't my fault. They can't resist me." I giggled.
Silence fell upon us again and I felt it go awkward after.
"Hey, Hiro look." I smiled faintly.
"Hmm?" His eyes strained towards mine making my heart skip a beat.
"If you..uh..I know you're thinking about what to respond to me weird confession.." I chuckled.-"But you don't have to bother. well, atleast yet. Because I won't take my confession back, but one day, I promise I will confess again. I'll do a better one at that time. And maybe, by then, you'll be able to return it.."
He seemed stunned by my words, his cheeks tainting pink as he stared at me with wide eyes.
"U-uh..uhm...I honestly don't know how to answer that.." He chuckled bashfully.
"I'm not asking you to answer it, Hiro.." I giggled.- "I just wanted you to know."
That seemed to clear the air now. We chatted and talked, laughed and giggled, until tadashi knocked on the door saying they had to get home and a nurse would be coming in to check up on me.
"Well I'll see you tomorrow, Hana." Hiro waved.
"Oh! Bring the gang with you. I'd love to see them too"
"What? You aren't content with just me?" He pouted.
I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"I am, I just want to let them know that I'm awake and alive, Idiot."
"Okay, okay. They'll come tomorrow too."
They left soon after that. The nurse entered indeed as soon as they left holding a clip board and a pen.
She took my blood pressure, checked my Iv, and all the other stuff like asking me if I feel alright, do I feel nauseated.
After answering all her questions she left telling me to get some sleep for I'll be leaving the hospital in two days.
Looking out the window I stared at the big moon and smiled.
Someday, he'd notice..someday he'll know..and he'll surely be ready by then..
