Ch.7

After the whole Gwen incident, we decided to call it a night. We texted Jennifer to meet us out front then headed out there ourselves.
It took her 10 mins just to get here but were not complaining, she was probably with her boyfriend.

John pulls up and we all climb in, I look over at Jennifer to see she's in a bit of a good mood. She was smiling as her hair started to blow around in the wind, free from its usual tight pony tail. Maybe she will talk to me about the party?

"How was the party?" I nudged her, she looked at me.

" It was..." she seemed to think about the next part "pretty fun."

"Ah, what did you do?" I asked.

"A lot of things." She said, trying to keep her hair from getting in her face.

"Like....?" I titled my head.

"Like..." She looked forward at the back of Johns front seat. "Uhm... Playing Beer Pong." She said, I felt like she was lying, but to be honest, Beer Pong is awesome.

"Oh cool, I'm guessing you won?" I said, really wanting a conversation with her. She looked at me with a proud face.

"Not just once. 7 times! In a row!"
She said proudly.

"In a row?!" I was shocked but thought it was completely amazing.

We ended up talking about her winnings the whole ride back to their house.

Once we reached the house, Jennifer simply waved goodnight and heads upstairs, Kyle happily followed her. I stood there, smiling. These guys have a pretty awesome life. John nudge my shoulder.

"So? How was the party?" He asked.

"Well" I looked at him with a smile "I helped Kyle get a date."

"You did? Amazing!" John said as he patted my back. "Did you have fun?"
I looked upstairs as Jennifer was walking into her room, she still had a bit of a smile on her face. I smiled

"Yes, I did."

The next day rolled around, Kyle has been texting Gwen all morning, and Jennifer seemed to be her normal self again, but she was atleast willing to have a conversation with me now.
I was helping making breakfast, I was making some eggs while John was cooking up bacon and hash browns.

"So what's the plan for today, kiddos?" John asked loudly so that Kyle would actually hear him over his happiness.

"I'm going to hang with my boyfriend."Jennifer said as she drank her freshly made coffee, I could smell the French Roast from her cup.

"I think..." Kyle looked up from his phone "I'm going on a date today." He was just smiling like a big idiot.

"Today?" Jennifer and I both said at the same time. We looked at each other, but had a small laugh at the coincidence.

"Yeah! Gwen wants to go to the Arcade with me!" He said smiling ever so happily.

"Oooh Kyles getting a girlfriend~" John said, he was still focusing on the bacon and hash browns. I tried not to laugh at how he said that line, he definitely was a comedic guy.

"You bet I am!" Kyle said proudly, then slowly deflated "I'm really nervous, what if she doesn't actually think it's a date? And a bunch of her friends come with?"

"I can go with you but keep a distance, if you want." I said as I pushed down eggs onto his plate.

"I'll go to then, I'm sure my boyfriend will be busy today, it is a Saturday after all." Jennifer added in.
John came over, putting some bacon on everyone's plate.

"I'm glad you guys are going with to support him on his first serious relationship!" He smiled at us.
"Besides, I'm sure you will both have your separate fun at the Arcade aswell!"

"Yeah, there's a lot of games there for us to play!" Kyle chimed. I liked the fact he was so happy about his date.
I looked at Jennifer smirked.

"I bet I can beat you at a Race Car Game~" I said.
She looked me dead in the eyes, then smirked to.

"Your on!" She said.

"After breakfast, mind you!" John said as he brought over the hash browns, "now everyone sit and eat so we can get going."

Today is going to be epic.
