I went to school the next day, I know,
How was I suppose to remember there was a test today when I dreamed about a life that was 3 years long?
Sat there in my English class, starting at the paper, I was so dull, my eyes hurt from all the crying. I did my best, or better known as guessing, on the test and turned it in. I didn't pay attention to my surroundings till I bumped into the girl behind me.

"I'm sorry-" I stared at her. This girl, she had long blonde hair in a tight pony tail, and brown eyes, it was Jennifer.

"It's ok" she said bending down to pick up her test, she placed her paper on the pile, she looked at me then slightly frowned. "Are you alright?"

"I....." there was nothing to say, I ended up saying something on the line of 'I didn't know you were in my English class!'. She simply chuckled.

"I have you for almost every class other than 4th period!" She said with a smile.

That's right, Jennifer is a real person, her little brothers name is Kyle, he's a freshman in high school. She's a Junior like me, she was just another student in my classes I've had over two years. And John? He's my History teacher, the closest person I had to a friend was my history teacher.

I sat down, only to stare at Jennifer for the rest of the period, the end of the period came and I had to go to my 4th period class, the only class I didn't have her in. So, I decided to do the unthinkable, I walked up to Jennifer, she didn't notice me at first since she was packing up. But once she put her backpack on the desk she noticed me.

"Oh! Hello there!" She said "Rose, right?"

"Yeah.." I said, running my fingers over rather edge of her desk. "Listen... I'm not very good at... talking."

"Oh that's alright, what do you need?" She asked.

"Um.." I looked down at my hands, then back at her.
"I... don't have a lot of friends.. and.. you seem like a nice person...."
I shyly pushed the hair out of my face.
"Could we possibly, be friends?"

"Sure! That would be fine by me!" She smiled, this is Jennifer, my friend, and at the same time, the girl of my dreams.
Literally.

She and I walked out of the class, talking, just talking. It was wonderful, I was, somewhat happy again. Knowing she was here with me.

We even hung out after school they very day, I met Kyle, again.
He was the same as I imagined him, friendly, goofy, kinda lazy, and loved video games. I saw John too, I told him about my dream, he was the only one I could trust, he smiled at me and patted my shoulder.

"Aw Rose, you really are something!"He smiled
"Imagining me as a father figure, it's heart warming."
John never had kids, his wife died giving birth to a still born, his students were like his children. He was a kind and funny man, he loved telling jokes and stories.

To say I was happy all over again, would only be half true, I was happy to have them back in my life, but it wasn't the same. Something about my DreamWorld, will forever stick with me. How happy it became, how real it felt, how long it felt like I was there for.

Now you know my story, you know how I felt, when I fell asleep, when I dreamed and when I woke up.
You know how I fell in love, then suddenly lost it. You know how I became just like everyone else, then suddenly turned back into a stranger.
You know my story, and you know how it ends, with me befriending the one I fell in love with and trying to lead a normal life.
You know all of this now, and so I say, this is not a goodbye, but a 'I'll see you next time'. So since your here, I'll just leave you with a welcome,
