"That Angelica sounds like a bitch,"Pete says to Colleen as they eat some spaghetti Patrick cooked for them before he left for his night shift.

Josh and Colleen arrived a few hours ago after Coll got out of school. Her dad is gonna get ready for the date there since Pete wants to make him look decent...enough to get laid.

"Pete, language,"Josh says from the guest bathroom near the kitchen where he's getting ready.

"Sorry!"

"She is a meanie. She even gave me a letter 'apologizing',"Coll continues the main topic as she finishes the food on her plate. "'Apologizing'?"

Coll nods,"She just said that she wrote it because her dad forced her to and the shirt I'm wearing is for boys." She points at her black and blue Queen shirt that is two sizes too big for her. Her dad bought it for her during her Bohemian Rapsody phase. She adores the shirt dearly so having Angelica insult it affects her.

"Bullshit,"Pete rolls his eyes.

"Pete!"

"Goddamn, sorry!"he yells at the bathroom door and then turns back at the toddler sitting next to him,"Look, Coll, what this Angelica girl is saying is all lies. You can wear whatever you want. Clothes are clothes. You wanna wear a skirt? Wear it. You wanna wear a Marvel shirt? Wear it. It's you who is wearing it after all, not those people."

Coll looks at him waiting for the speech to go on, which it does after the puppy eyes she gives him.

"Actually,"he whispers,"I shouldn't be telling you this but, your dad once dated this boy who wore skirts and makeup. He liked dressing that way so he did. He didn't care what people thought."

"A boy wearing skirts?"

"Yup. Your dad thought he looked beautiful."

"Dad has great taste on boys,"Coll giggles and a few drops of the tomato sauce stain the area around her mouth.

Pete chuckles and cleans her with a spare napkin that was next to her plate,"He does."

Josh comes in the kitchen with a fancy blue shirt on and black dress pants. His shoes are black as well. "Does this look good?"he asks as he tried to comb his messy hair with his fingers.

Both Pete and Coll look at him from head to toe and viceversa. They then look at each other and nod. "Uncle Pete and I think you look good,"Coll says with a smile on her face.

"I do?"

"You look alright. Just try to be interesting."

Coll looks at Pete confused,"Why does he have to be interesting?"

"So he can get la-..."

"Pete, I swear to God."

"Fine! He's gotta be interesting if he wants to get another date with the boy,"Pete explains to the toddler in words Josh wouldn't kill him for.

"Ooh,"Coll replies. Josh nods in approval and goes back to the bathroom to finish getting ready. It's almost time for him to leave. He just wants to check everything's good to go one last time.
