Lexi's P.O.V
"Lexi!" my mom yells "Come down here. Bring Ally too"
"What mother."
"I have news. I got a break off work so we are going on a trip. Ally, I talked to your mom and you're coming too."
"Okay...." Ally said sounding scared. I don't blame her..
My mom carried on "We are going to another state"
"WHERE? CALIFORNIA? FLORDIA? TEXAS?"
"Maryland." She stated simply
"Maryland? The hell? Why Maryland?"
"Well I found out that we have family there. It turns out that I had another sister but she was adopted. And you have a cousin there Lex."
"Well then.. What's her name?"
"HIS name is Danny."
"Okay...."
*A couple days later*
(Still lexi's P.O.V.)
We were packing up to go to Maryland for all of summer break. Yay.
Were staying with my aunt and cousin the whole time. I hope he isn't creepy...
"Lex! Ally! Come on it's time to go!
*We arrive to my aunt's*
We go and knock on the door and a woman who I guess was my aunt answered the door.
"Hi everyone! Danny is actually downstairs with his friend right now so if you want to go meet him you can"
"Okay I guess we'll go down there heh heh..." I answer nevously
Ally and I start wondering the house and eventually find the door to downstairs. We slowly creep downstairs.
"Hello.? Is Danny down here.?"
"Yeah we're over here!" He answered
"Hey that kinda sounded like Danny Edge from Exclamation Point" Ally said to me as we round the last corner.
"Hey" Danny said. We stopped dead in our tracks.
"That is Danny from Exclamation point" Ally whispered to me
"No shit sherlock" I said a little to loud
"Sorry.. are we interrupting something or..." Paul awkwardly said
"Oh sorry haha.."
(Just so you know, I have the biggest crush on Paul and Ally is in love with Danny.)
"So um what are you guys doing?" I asked no one in general
"Just writing a new song" Danny answered
Ally didn't hesitate to run over to Danny and peak over his shoulder "OOh what's it about? I love your songs"
"So you're pointers?" Paul asked, looking at me
I just blushed and quietly said yes
Paul stood up and walked over to me "I've always wanted to date a fan"
"Paul, step away from my cousin. She's off limits."
I groaned at Danny for ruining the moment I've waited so long for
As Paul walked back over to Danny and Ally he grabbed my hand, tugging me along and smiling back at me
"So you never told us what this song is about" I said more confident than I was before.
"We don't know. We haven't sarted. We have no inspiration. But now, I might have a good idea for a song" Paul said looking up at me and biting his lip.
I think I might actually enjoy this summer.
