Silvally and I walked along the path of route one. I had really gotten to know him. He was really funny, between the cheesy jokes and just talking about random crap that just seemed to be funny. It seemed to me as if he was enjoying his time with me, even when it got silent.
"You know, I think you will be a great trainer!"
"But Silvally, we haven't battled anyone yet! You still have that much faith in me?"
"Hey, my intuition doesn't lie," Silvally gloated about himself. I sighed, because sometimes, he could be a little too extra.
"Ooh, lemme tell you a story! You're gonna love it!"
"Okay..." I honestly didn't want to know, but I didn't have a choice.
"So one time I was--" Silvally was cut off by someone in the distance. I turned around and saw a silhouette of someone in the distance. This person seemed familiar. Oh wait it was that creep from earlier.
"SILVALLY RETURN NOW!"
"Wha--" Silvally once again was cut off by being returned into his pokeball. By the time I got my head around what I should do, that person from earlier showed up in front of me. I bit my lip with nervousness and looked up once again as I had before. His eyes this time had a confused look.
"So you're a Silvally trainer, huh?"
"Um.. no.." I really didn't want this guy to know that I had a rare pokemon.
"Sure ya don't. I saw you yell at your Silvally to return when I was coming," the guy started. He had a scowl, glaring right into my eyes, and friggin' hell it scared me.
"No... it's not the case, I--"
"Please answer me this," he commanded with a firm voice. I gulped. All I wanted to do was keep Silvally safe. I didn't know his strengths or weaknesses and surely didn't want to find out his weaknesses the hard way. My eyes started to widen in fear.
"Wh-what is it?"
"Why are you so damn scared of me? What the hell did I do to you?"
"I-I'm not..." That wasn't even convincing. And to even hear that myself, I knew that he would call me on my Bullshit. I mentally cussed myself out.
"What is going on here?" And there goes outta nowhere some little girl who has a creepily close resemblance to this dude. She looks at me then him, back and forth.
"Oh, sorry if he scares you. My brothers an edgelord."
Wait that was his sister? What the hell is going on? Okay this day is just getting weirder and weirder.
"Lillie! How would you like it if I called you a prissy brat? Huh?"
And then an awkward silence.
"Uh, I'm just gonna g--" I was cut off if you didn't notice.
"WAIT missy! I'm Lillie and this is Gladion! What might your name be?" Lillie tried to stop me from leaving.. and succeded.
"Cerise! Nice to meet you Lillie... and you too Gladion...," I muttered slightly when I said so to Gladion, as he wasn't such an open person to talk to.
Gladion scoffed and kept walking. Well damn, what was his problem? I tried to ignore it for a while. So I kept myself busy talking to Lillie. She was a really upbeat and fun person to talk to. She was asking me what the best place to go shopping was, and I had to tell her that it was saffron city. We chatted away, and then before we knew it, we were in Viridian city.
"Finally here!" Lillie exclaimed. She spun around in circles near a sign. It felt so different being here, because I was on a journey. I mean sure, I had been here before, but I was with Lillie and Gladion this time.
"Cerise, I need to talk to you for a second. Lillie you stay here" Ofcourse, Lillie was nowhere in sight, probably gawking over something in the city. I wasn't even surprised.
"Whatever. She'll be fine."
We arrived where Gladion wanted us to go. I bit my lip with nervousness because I knew that he was going to drill me with questions that I don't want to answer. Here goes absolutely nothing. Ugh!!
"Send out your pokemon, right now," he commanded with great power in his voice. I shivered as I looked up at his eyes that had a look that would probably scar me for life. He seemed as if he would hurt me either way, so I just let out Silvally.
After letting him out, I squeezed my eyes shut and hunched over in a form of bracing myself for whatever was abut to happen.
"*yawn* did someone say burritos?" Silvally asked, "wait what's going on here? Am I missing something?"
"Give me a sec, Silvally come out!" Another Silvally was let out of his pokeball. Apparently Gladion had one too.
"Yeah there are only two in the world. In other words, we have one of the rarest pokemon. To further explain, this pokemon has the same ability as the pokemon Arceus himself; he can turn himself into any type. They were originally passed down in two powerful families, ones that rivaled each other. Only the descendants have this pokemon and...well...who are your relatives?"
"My relatives? Well...I am the granddaughter of professor Oak, but not biologically. They all say I was found in the woods somewhere and they took me in as a baby. As far as Silvally, I have no clue how the oaks got him," I replied.
"Hmm... I did escape with Silvally, when he was just a type:null when I was younger. My mother became so obsessed with running tests and... so I ran with it. After this, I joined a team thinking I would get somewhere with revenge on my mother. They were just as wretched and evil as her. However I stopped at nothing to get revenge. It's so vivid as a memory when my mother summoned lots of beasts and.. they are still roaming around the world, being unnaturally hostile. Silvally serves the purpose of defeating those beasts, so this is where you come in Cerise. Will you help me chase down the beasts?"
