First Kiss

It was rather awkward and uncomfortable

as we both sat in front of hundreds of

people at one of the festivals.

A kissing booth, that's

what they called it.

I could tell by the look in her eyes that she felt

forced to sit there, but even if I was kissing

a stranger, I, damn it, I loved it, because

if you ask me, locking your rough

lips with soft, shaky ones,

ones that are bare,

is incredible.
