"Chanel, Chanel wake up baby." I heard someone say while shaking me lightly.
I sat up opening my eyes in a panic. "Wha- is everything okay what happened?!" I asked Mya who was stood over me.
She shook her head as she fixed my hair. "No, calm down. Nothing happened. You fell asleep I was waking you up to see if you wanted to go back to the house, my dads here and offering a ride back."
"Uh thanks but I can't leave him." I sighed pointing at August who was still asleep in the hospital bed.
"Chanel he's fine. The doctor said he'll be a sleep for a while because of all the medication." She told me as she walked over to him.
"Mya, I know you're trying to do what's best but I nearly lost him I need to stay and make sure he's okay." She nodded and gave me a small smile.
"Okay Honey. I wanna let you know that you don't HAVE to stay and if you wanna go home and get some rest, you can."

We were all shocked about the news of August being shot. A few of his friends from the party came by the house to assure us that they would find out who it was that did it and make them pay. But I didn't take much notice, these 'friends'of August's were little boys and weren't capable of doing what had to be done which is why I decided to take matters into my own hands.
"Christopher-" I began when he finally answered the phone. "How are you sexy?" He said speaking over me.
I rolled my eyes. "Ugh not now. I need you help with something."
"With what?" He asked in a serious tone.
"Its August. He's been shot at some house party-." He cut me off. "I'm on it."
