I set up the dining room table and got dinner ready for tonight. A bunch of the guys were coming over for dinner and to hang out for a while before Brian goes back to Ireland.

He growled softly, "Why you always feel the need to take hours to get stuff ready? It's just the guys! They're not gonna complain as long as they have food and something to do."

The door opens and I meet his eyes as he leans against the door jam.
