"ms.hope, are you alright? what happened?" i silently asked her, i couldnt think straight all i saw was alexis' mom crying, and i had no idea what to do
"kian? w-what are you doing here?" she replied with her bloodshot eyes, while sniffling
"i heard what happened, i just had to know that you two were okay, sorry if i disturbed you." i say while backing out, before i heard someone say my name
i turn around and it was alexis, on a bed, she had just woken up.
"alexis, im so sorry this happened are you okay?" her injuries dont seem as bad, but she did have some
"no, but i will be..why are you here?" she asked, she couldn't even look me in the eye
"i wanted to make sure you guys were okay, jc told me everything that happened. and i couldnt just sit there and pretend that i didnt care. i care a lot about you alexis." i said while reaching for her hand, she flinches,but then starts to hold my hand
"and audrey? where is she?" she asked while letting go of my hand
"i, i broke up with her, i have something to tell you.." i sighed and had sweaty palms, i was too fucking nervous. shes probably going to hate me. fuck. why did i have to be such an idiot?
"okay, and that is?" she replied, she finally looked at me. oh god. this is going to be harder than i thought
i told her everything. about how i wanted her to have better, cause she deserved it. and how amazing she is and how stupid i am.
"you lied to me for almost a month, i cant believe you would do that! you know how fucking upset i was that the guy i am in love with didnt even remember me? how my best fucking friend couldnt remember all the good times we had?? Kian. i-" i cut her off, i grabbed her hand
"i am in love with you. i am, i cant deny it. alexis im so sorry."
i kiss her forehead
"kian, im sorry..i cant look you in the eye right now. just leave please." she starts breaking down
i let go of her hand, and she grabs it again and says "thanks for coming."
and she lets go.
